FINAL: 7-2 #StLBlues. Joey Daccord (.762 SV%) and Nikke Kokko (.667 SV%) suffer behind messy defense. Former Blues Vince Dunn and Jaden Schwartz score the only #Seakraken goals in the third

6-0 #StLBlues, shots 25-18 STL after 40 Abysmal defense, which didn’t help what was already an off night for Joey Daccord. St Louis looks excellent but more could be done by the #Seakraken to put up a fight. All skaters have a negative goal diff. except for 13, 95, 51, 29 (0)

Goodness gracious, it’s 6-0 #StLBlues  Excellent passing play by the opposition— Jake Neighbours with the goal. Where did Sunday’s defense go?

#StLBlues  make it 5-0, and Joey Daccord is pulled. #Seakraken ’s Nikke Kokko will make his NHL debut

It’s 4-0, #StLBlues  👀

#Seakraken can’t score on a power play, momentum turns to the Blues’ favor, and St Louis scores for a 3-0 lead Seattle took all of the first eight shots of the period. Jordan Eberle forced the puck out of the zone prior to this play but not deep enough

2-0 #StLBlues, shots 14-4 STL (!!!) after 20 Faceoff losses (St Louis won 72.2%) led directly to both goals against Seattle. Zone entries looked good to start but the #Seakraken couldn’t establish long-term. Eight shot attempts total. Meanwhile, defense sagged

#StLBlues double the lead, 2-0, eight seconds into the power play Eeli Tolvanen was penalized, Blues score another goal right after a FOW. Tanev, Larsson, Oleksiak all drawn to puck carrier low in the zone

The #StLBlues open the scoring in skilled fashion Jordan Kyrou with a nifty move to evade Jamie Oleksiak’s shot-blocking efforts. Blues won the NZ FO to start this sequence

Nikke Kokko with the #Seakraken 👋

#Seakraken lines versus St Louis, per broadcast: Schwartz-Beniers-Kakko Tolvanen-Stephenson-Bjorkstrand McCann-Wright-Burakovsky Tanev-Stephens-Eberle Dunn-Larsson Oleksiak-Montour Evans-Mahura Joey Daccord starts, Nikke Kokko backs up

FINAL: 4-1 #GoBolts. Seattle narrowly escapes a shut out thanks to a lone goal by Shane Wright. #Seakraken took 37 shots, owned 51.8% of the shot quality in all situations, but couldn't get enough past Andrei Vasilevskiy. Aleš Stezka records a .864 SV% (19/22) in his NHL debut

Empty-netter for Nick Paul, #GoBolts lead 4-1 with 1:44 to go

The #Seakraken won’t be shut out today— Shane Wright tips a shot in from Brandon Montour. Nikita Kucherov scored an empty-net goal shortly after but the Kraken successfully challenged (offside). 3-1 TBL with 3:43 to go

1:43 after Nikita Kucherov’s goal, Luke Glendening scores to hand the #GoBolts a 3-0 lead late

#GoBolts double their lead off the FO Nikita Kucherov scores his 26th goal of the season with incredible speed. Aleš Stezka likely screened #Seakraken

#Seakraken are behind 1-0 but lead in shots 30-17 through 40. Aleš Stezka’s allowed one goal on 17 shots. Few rebounds, he’s good on posts His movements are large and lack a last-minute mobility. Important for D to prevent harsh changes in direction before shots

Preventative defense (hustle, active sticks, punctual positioning) have held the #GoBolts to just 14 shots through nearly 40 minutes Entering this game, Tampa Bay ranked 12th in the league in shots for/game (29)

Brandon Hagel with the shorty to open the scoring #GoBolts Oliver Bjorkstrand is the only skater back when Hagel pops out for this chance, and Aleš Stezka is beaten five-hole/under his pad

Brandon Montour with a nice interception on a pass attempt by Brandon Hagel #Seakraken  He was behind the play but hustled back for this

Scoreless, shots 11-7 #Seakraken  after 20 Good first period for game two of a back-to-back. Seattle’s playing energized overall but especially defensively, playing with an edge deep in their zone and exiting quickly Jared McCann had a few rush chances

#Seakraken lines versus Tampa, per broadcast: Schwartz-Beniers-Kakko Tolvanen-Stephenson-Bjorkstrand McCann-Wright-Burakovsky Tanev-Stephens-Eberle Dunn-Larsson Oleksiak-Montour Evans-Mahura Aleš Stezka starts his first career NHL game. Has a .902 SV% 25 AHL games this season

Dan Bylsma told reporters in Tampa that the #Seakraken's "puck management" sagged in the middle frame vs FLA, contributing to extended d-zone shifts. So, keep an eye on the second period today. "[It] got us away from a lot of the good things in the first period we had done"

FINAL: 2-1, #Seakraken, improving to 5-2-1 all-time versus Florida. Kaapo Kakko scores his 10th of the season, Jared McCann his 15th. Seattle goes 1/1 on the PP With the help of a successful goaltender interference challenge, Joey Daccord finishes with a .963 SV% (26/27)

Florida’s pulled the goalie, under four minutes to go in regulation. Joey Daccord’s saved 2.04 goals above expected to this point— an impressive return from break #Seakraken

Jared McCann’s first goal since Jan. 20 helps the #Seakraken take a 2-1 lead. Pretty move by Shane Wright, spinning to shake off Uvis Balinskis and passing to Adam Larsson, to keep possession & eventually set up No. 19

1-1, shots 23-16 #TimeToHunt after 40 Florida dominated, doubling the #Seakraken in shots (12-6) and forcing Seattle’s d-corps to sharpen up their puck-clearing efforts in front of their net. Lots of close calls 6 of the 9 FLA chances in the mid-low slot (below) came in the 2nd

#TimetoHunt scores for their first lead of the game but the #Seakraken challenge for goaltender interference. After lengthy deliberation the goal is called back— Evan Rodrigues is the guilty party. Tied again, 1-1

#TimeToHunt tie things up, 1-1 Eetu Luostarinen slips ahead of Brandon Montour and scores on a neat pass from Anton Lundell. Alllll Florida this period

1-0 #Seakraken, shots 11-10 #TimeToHunt after 20 Seattle survives a Florida PP in the first 0:41 and use their own PP to gain momentum. Kakko picks up where he left off w/ goal No. 10 Good pace to the rest of the pd— energy is there after 2 weeks even if execution isn’t quiiite

Great shift for Jordan Eberle, who records a couple of shot attempts (including a backhander) on his sixth shift of the first period. Not pictured here, but he also gained possession & dumped the puck in to help the fourth line complete the uncontrolled entry #Seakraken

Kaapo Kakko draws a penalty and scores on his own power play. 1-0, #Seakraken First PP unit struggled to connect on passes (although the crop of lanes available was high quality). Beniers, Wright, and Kakko connect on two here

Kraken lines per @davyjoneslr.bsky.social Schwartz-Beniers-Kakko Tolvanen-Stephenson-Bjorkstrand McCann-Wright-Burakovsky Tanev-Stephens-Eberle Dunn-Larsson Oleksiak-Montour Evans-Mahura Daccord
