What a face! Looks like an Ewok to me. Where's his little spear?

Oh yeah, a doctor I met early in my medical quest recommended yoga. He was Indian, and really thought it would be helpful, and I tried it. I really did. I sampled the ayurvedic lifestyle, and it was nice, but it didn't change my symptoms even a little bit.

That's the Wisconsin I remember. ๐Ÿ’™

I wish I could gently relocate the sick & raving people I see outside to someplace humane, like the Netherlands. Today I passed a man who was shouting about nothing in particular. Just shouting. There are better ways to take care of mentally ill or addicted people. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฉท๐Ÿ’› www.icwa.org/dutch-housin...

This quiz is brilliant. I found another book to add to my TBR library reserve list. Something I probably would never have found on my own, The Book of Disappearance by Ibtisam Azem. It's speculative fiction. #BookSjy ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“š thebookerprizes.com/the-booker-l...

I just finished reading this book, and the experience felt like a fever dream with a David Bowie soundtrack. I think I need an MFA to properly reflect upon the experience. Still, it was short, and I feel like I gained something from the experience. #BookSky ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“š thebookerprizes.com/the-booker-l...

Such an original movie. ๐Ÿคฉ

Just saw Sinners in a movie theater. It was fabulous. The story, actors, historical settings, horror & music were all spot on. I just finished reading "The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration" today, which was great preparation for the movie Sinners g.co/kgs/EcQzeSk

The more I look at this picture I took yesterday, the more crazy it seems. #Minneapolis #WildTurkeys

If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive. - Eleonora Duse Happy new week โ˜€๏ธ #flowers #bloomscrolling #nature #gardening

This looks like it'll be a good movie. โค๏ธ

Went to the movie theater tonight to see Mickey 17. I've read the book it was based on, Mickey7. The movie added some points to the plot, but they didn't ruin it. It might have improved it, but I'm not sure the creepy religious couple was really necessary. ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค‘ #BookSky #MovieSky g.co/kgs/Zv4czN6

It's a winner of a series, alright ๐Ÿ†

Here's my idea of a perfect retirement. The picture just needs snacks. ๐Ÿง๐Ÿฆ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿฅ™๐ŸŸ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿฅช

I'm starting The Warmth of Other Suns: the Epic Story of America's Great Migration. I know next to nothing about black Americans moving north between 1915 and 1970. I'm almost totally clueless. It's time to change that.๐Ÿ’› #GreatMigration #JimCrow #CivilRights ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“š #BookSky warmth.isabelwilkerson.com

One weird thing about all of these awesome federal programs getting gutted out of existence is that I now know they used to exist. Thatโ€™s sort of nice, I guess. Itโ€™s like learning about an animal that went extinct last Tuesday.

idk who needs to see this but here is the photo that appears on the american pika's wikipedia page
