Chasten and I are relieved that Governor Shapiro and his family are safe. While we wait to learn more, this much is clear: the targeting of a public official and his family - especially a prominent Jewish official on a major Jewish holiday - is unconscionable and has no place in our country.

Bernie Sanders made a surprise appearance at Coachella 2025 last night. So he went from the LA rally to Coachella. He's 83 and fighting like this. This should be an inspiration to all of us. If he can do this, we can all do a little more.

The people who would prosecute insider trading all got fired already right?

Fear has a way of being contagious. But courage is also contagious.

BREAKING — Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) staffers who were put on admin leave on Monday just got letters letting them know they’re a part of a Reduction in Force (RIF) and that their job will be “abolished” effective May 4th in accordance with Trump’s EO, per copy reviewed by me.

🚨Georgetown University Law Center students are detailing which law firms have caved and which have stood up to the Trump regime. They have created this spreadsheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheets... Please share widely.

Since election day, even more so since inauguration day, the wins for dems have been sparse. Today fills me with a lot of hope on two fronts. What @booker.senate.gov accomplished was nothing less than heroic. I have hope that our Democratic members of Congress 1/

Can't think of a better night: *Cory Booker ending Strom Thurmond's record and inspiring our movement. *Democrats over-performing by 22 points in #FL01 and 16 points in #FL06. *Susan Crawford winning Wisconsin handily. *Elon Musk learning that he is NOT all-powerful. Celebrate the wins, folks!

Congratulations, Senator. Your achievement is inspiring. It's easy to feel tired and discouraged in these trying times. Your strength is going to give people the strength and courage to stay in this fight. Your words moved me to tears today. Thank you for standing up for democracy. 💙💙

It’s well known that I was on The Apprentice. We were all covered by NDAs at the time, but mine has now expired. And do I ever have some tea to spill. I’ll post it later today after consulting once again with my attorneys.

Hi, BlueSky. It's Hillary. I've joined up here to help get the word out about an important election in Wisconsin tomorrow, and other ways to defend our democracy against those who think votes can be bought.

Indiana Rep Spartz (R): “You violated the law, you are not entitled to due process.” Dangerously ignorant. 🇺🇸

Yes.

We saw what was happening too, but because it hasn't rolled us yet, we had, still have hope.

Veteran figure skater here. Alyssa Liu smashed it. #Worlds #Gold

It's always the women.

The so-called “SAVE Act” would make it harder for millions of women to vote just because their married name doesn’t match their birth certificate! Why are the House Republicans bringing this to the floor? We’re not going back to 1919!

The thing I admire most about Jeffery Goldberg right now is that he didn't sit on his incendiary scoop, waiting to reveal it only when he could make money from it in a book, like so many other selfish people who know shocking things about this administration have done and will continue to do.

Note to editors and producers: If an executive order demands action that is illegal or outside of the president’s authority, then you should not describe it as ordering something. You should say it seeks to achieve some outcome and then note it is illegal or beyond the power of the president.

The lede here: "Federal agents moved a Turkish student arrested in Massachusetts to Louisiana despite a judge’s order barring her transfer without notice." Let's be real clear: With the feds now openly defying judges, the rule of law is dead in the United States. www.wsj.com/us-news/law/...

This should frighten everybody.

Just listened to Rep. Moolinaar do his virtual town hall. So nice when he gets to pick and choose what questions he answers. I do think he still needs to face voters in person.
