As someone whose both paternal grandparents were born in Canada, my heart breaks. As an American, I wonder what more I could have done to prevent this coup. Perhaps nothing. All we can do is keep resisting and not giving up. I hope failure is not inevitable.

My dad made the cradle for me as a child, and my cat, Fluffy, put up with doll clothes and being placed in it... now 40+ years later, the current overlords, Nutmeg and Raven, continue the tradition (sans doll clothes 😂).
