Got my new Pi5 set up, but my Waveshare Dual NVMe HAT won’t boot from NVMe when my OCuLink adapter is plugged in. I think my last Pi’s damage also affected the HAT, so I ordered another. The bottom of the aluminum case I was using had broken free from the case and possibly shorted. Idk.

My pi 5 power led is staying red, not booting. Tried a new sdcard but the light stays red and no display. I had the external gpu connected, working on getting the drivers installed, I saw that one of the cables to the gpu was unplugged, when I plugged it in everything went dark. Short? Dumb of me.
