The main criteria for Trump cabinet members was that the needed to look good on TV. I’m starting to wonder whether that was wise.

One of the current problems in the US is that people hold ideological views regardless of the evidence otherwise. For example, it’s been an idealogical truth with Republicans that the government is inefficient. So there is no need to search for evidence of this.
