Walking with pride past colors that speak louder than words 🌈✨

Raise your hand if you love hydrangeas 🙋🏻‍♀️

The world feels lighter when you walk in your truth—one color at a time. 🏳️‍🌈

A wall of names, a sky of peace. Grateful for every sacrifice etched into history. 🇺🇸

Tea at the Willard is a big deal in Washington—people regularly clamor for reservations—so come here when you feel like dressing up. It's served in the ornate Peacock Alley, which is decorated in pastel blues and filled with chandeliers and palms, to the sounds of a live harpist.

🌈 Be a part of the Fabric of Freedom at World Pride DC! 🏳️‍🌈 Throughout history, fabric has been a powerful symbol of identity, expression, and resistance. As the LGBTQ+ community faces growing challenges, it’s our shared fabric — rich in culture, diversity, and unity — that will carry us forward.

Friday blooms and monument views!✨ We made it through the week — the weekend’s finally here!

Whether you’re raising a tiny human, a fur baby, a feathered diva, or just always showing up like the MVP of the friend group—this day’s for you. Hope it’s as fabulous and extra as you are. Happy Mother’s Day!

We don’t bloom because it’s easy, we bloom because we’re stubborn. Keep your head up—not just for the view—but so they know you’re not bowing to any of this nonsense.

In a season of renewal and wonder — celebrating freedom, hope, and new beginnings. Happy Easter, Chag Pesach Sameach, and happy springtime to all who dream! 🌸🌷🐰

Wisteria’s blooming, dogwood’s dazzling, and I’m out here layered like it’s January. But apparently spring might actually act like spring this week? 🌸💜

Nature’s out here speed-running her glow-up and I’m just trying to keep up with allergy meds and outfit changes.🤦🏻‍♀️

This tree has seen more springs than any of us—history in full bloom while we just pass through. That’s why we have to protect them, so future generations can walk this same path. Go to bloomcam.org🍃🌸🍃

Liberation Day has turned into Libation Day!🍸🫣

The Jefferson Memorial went through years of rehab cleaning of its dome, and with this year‘s blossoms, you can really see a difference.🍃🌸🍃

Just like that, PEAK BL🌸🌸M came and went—cherry blossom season at the Tidal Basin was a fleeting beauty this year. The rollercoaster of warm days, sudden chills, wind, and rain had its own plans, and sometimes, that’s just how it goes.

Let justice bloom as boldly as hope. 🌸✨

Blossoms frame the monument, but it’s up to us to frame the future. Happy Sunday!🌸🌸🌸🌸

Once the picture-perfect magnolia, always captured from its best angle. But years of rough weather have thinned its blooms. Still, it stands—strong, steady, and scarred. A quiet testament to holding on, even when everything feels a little more weathered. 🌸

Stopped by the Tidal Basin yesterday—while we’re not at full bloom just yet, I found a spot that was nothing short of lovely. 🌸 But as the trees wait for more blossoms to join them, so too does this country need more of us to show up—to protect the roots of the democracy we love. 💙🇺🇸

The cherry trees are blooming! I’m honored to serve as a Cherry Tree Ambassador with @TheNationalMall, sharing awareness about the need to help support and care for the trees all year long to ensure this Washington, D.C. tradition blooms for generations to come!  Learn more at bloomcam.org/donate. 🌿

When the magnolias make Monday magical, even the clouds stop to stare.🌸 Happy Monday!🩷

Pink petals and marble giants—proof that softness can stand beside strength. Just like those who keep showing up for our democracy. 🌸🇺🇸

Spring officially arrived at 5:01 a.m. EST. And while we could all use the distraction from what’s going on in our country, let’s take a cue from the season—hopeful, resilient, reaching for the light, and ready to fight for what matters. 🌿🌸🩷

Everybody’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day—so might as well dance like it! ☘️🇮🇪💃

Okame cherry blossoms making their grand entrance—Spring’s first act. And my allergies? Also making their debut. Here we go. 🌸 🤧

Politics are a disaster, but at least our plants stay loyal, grow quietly, and ask for nothing but sunlight and water. If only everything were that simple. ☘️🌿

Bookstores are becoming rare, but nothing beats the feeling of wandering through shelves, discovering hidden gems, and breathing in the scent of stories. Here’s to the magic of the written word—may we never let it fade.

Lost an hour of sleep but wish we could’ve skipped ahead four years instead. ⏩⏳

What about those Oscars last night? It’s like these doors—choosing which one you like best and you just can’t decide because they’re all winners! 🥇

The 2025 predicted cherry blossom peak bloom dates in Washington DC are March 28-31. The @cherryblossfest kicks off March 20 and runs through April 13.

Did I hear there’s a snow dusting coming this morning? Meanwhile, I’m on day six of the flu and haven’t stepped outside in what feels like forever.

Thinking about how many little creatures are cozied up in all that ivy, living their best hibernation life while we’re out here freezing ❄️🦔🐿️

Feeling like these doors today—one side is me regretting all the Valentine’s chocolate, the other side is me pretending I have no regrets.🤭🍫

Love, unity, and a little Barbie magic ❤️✨ because kindness will always be in style.

Brick, snow, and a little winter magic. 🌟❄️

Georgetown’s charm never gets old—cobblestone streets, colorful row houses, and a little bit of history at every turn. Happy Monday and congrats to the Eagles 🦅!💚

Stuck between ‘Happy Holidays’ and ‘Be Mine’ when the Christmas tree says goodbye, but the Valentine’s decor says hello. 🎄♥️

Some things only get better with time—like classic cars and century-old brownstones. 🚗🏡✨

It’s Groundhog Day, and honestly, I wouldn’t blame him for staying underground with the state of our country. If I could hide out till things got better, I would too. But alas, he did come out and he did see his shadow signaling six more weeks of winter…

Stay strong and stand your ground Mexico and Canada!

I stopped by Plantr in Adams Morgan, and not only did they help me figure out my plant problem, but their shop is also the cutest little escape. Grateful for small joys in tough times. 🌿✨ PS: they also have a cute little coffee bar, events and classes!
