This is exactly the right tone when privileged people suffer minor or temporary consequences standing up for powerless people. It’s still about the powerless people. ICE is Gestapo trash.

I guess I've been assuming that this is because the "better strategy" many of these people are envisioning involves violent overthrow of the government followed by some sort of left dictatorship. A lot of people seem to have lost all faith that the system we've had for 250 years can ever work again.

Here's the thing about the Red Sox situation. They had to trade a batter some time because of the logjam in OF Who makes the most sense? Anthony? Untouchable. Raefela? His value is pretty locked to Fenway. Abreu? Who doesn't hit arbitration until 2027? Duran? Or the guy locking up DH for 8yr
