Purity politics is bad, but I think there are quite a few Dems that have shown a lack of willpower to do anything productive. That comes across as a leadership issue mostly, and I do think Dems need new leadership at the very least. So, not primary everyone, but primary the worst actors.

Ok last AI post of the night. I really don't love the framing of tech as useful or it's a scam (often using NFTs as an example). It's not a helpful framework to evaluate what tech will breakthrough and not. It's much more helpful to think of tech adoption and usefulness as a spectrum.

fwiw "I don't know what the big deal is" is the starting point for most people on trans rights and even if they've been moved to the right by the past few years of propaganda getting people back to their natural attitude is not insurmountable or even particularly difficult
