Everyone who has paid into Social Security: 1. Create a Login.Gov account. 2. Go to the Social Security page and log in. 3. Do screen caps of your Earnings Record. 4. Because it may not be there tomorrow, thanks to Elon.

This is cool. The Guardian recreated a searchable climate future risk tool (wildfire, extreme heat, drought, hurricane, and coastal flood) for the US that was developed by FEMA but deleted by the Trump administration’s ‘climate’ purge.

And that’s how it really is. Not some church-weirdo bullshit lies about trans people being groomers and perverts. Fuck you all who even think that. Doubly so if you say that shit. 🖕😡🖕

"Mediocrity is what fearful people will always settle for. Again, think of a pointless paintng, one bad dot cannot ruin the paintng, you fix it & you move on. However, if ppl are afraid to take risks with bright & bold colors, then the entire work will be very dull & very bland." - Michael Eisner

The data states that hybrid work is very effective, *if managed well*. So far, all I've ever read is we have an epidemic of bad managers that have no idea of the new tech they are pushing. Not AI, not RTO, not DEI. Just bad management incapable of adapting. May we all survive these troglodytes.

As expected, the Trump team is already deleting climate info from government websites. In anticipation, our team at Urban Ocean Lab created a permanent archive of 100+ key resources and published a permanent archive: www.urbanoceanlab.org/resource-hub 👩🏽‍💻

I'm not teaching my grad course 'Civil Resistance: How It Works' this semester. But here is an abridged version of the course schedule, readings, and films I used the last time I taught it (in 2022). Just in case it's useful. drive.google.com/file/d/14RRJ...

No one can quash the legacy of the Tuskegee Airman. Same for the Buffalo Soldiers. That unit was sent to West Point from 1907-1947 to replace an undisciplined white unit. During segregation, they trained all the white officers who fought in WWI & II & they built a legacy. We know their story.

New: DOJ is withdrawing offers for the unpaid summer intern program under the Trump admin hiring freeze, which usually places ~1000 law students across the department. That's interesting. Section 230 allows companies that own platforms to be not be responsible for their users' use, but if the platforms own the users?

That sounds desperate.

I've always enjoyed a good classic movie. For many film snobs, the best movie ever was Citizen Kane, and there are those who find Casablanca to be. I recall watching it with my wife, who had never seen it at the time, and was amazed how many scenes has been referenced in other movies.

Well, that's quite a headline after several others today.
