Though personally, I've had a rough start to the year, my work with Ghostfire continues to be awesome. We got amazing stuff in the works! Premiering next week at Winter Fantasy is a new 4-hour Grim Hollow adventure, "The Deathly Rift" by the brilliant Andy Dempz! Hope you get a chance to play it!

Ooooh! One of my adventures is spot lighted by the DM's Guild. Malevolent Reign is the thrilling conclusion to the Malevolent Delusions storyline for the Moonshaes. Even if you didn't play MD, I put in some fun encounters that can be lifted and dropped into other games easily.

Why is it since I got my new 3D printer that my life now revolves around this machine’s schedule?

Grateful for Jeff giving me the opportunity to write some more magic items for him! Check out Weapons of Lore! Gorgeous art paired with expertly designed weapons!

I have published a new Dragonlance supplement on the DM's Guild! Please check it out if you're interested! It contains 24 encounters designed to be slotted into the Shadow of the Dragon Queen. Four for every chapter after Preludes and eight for Shadow of War! www.dmsguild.com/product/5085...

I can 100% confirm from personal experience this is true for both classical music and TTRPGs. Respect, support, and cheer on others in your field. They are your stand partners, the others at the table with you.

Not sure if the sun really helps, but appreciate the effort.

Gnome Made Games is looking for a landscape artist who can also do character art. I need a high-resolution, detailed piece of art that will work as a wrap-around cover for a new #ttrpg, along with being the signature piece during crowdfunding. #fantasyart #ttrpgart

You can learn a lot about a TTRPG simply by making a character in it.

Hundred Dungeons v0.73 is live on DTRPG and Itch! If you haven’t checked out this FREE sword and sorcery hack of 5E, give it a look. Trait-based character building and light rules bring exploration to the fore #dnd #ttrpg 💻 www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/4... 🔗 grahamward.itch.io/hundred-dung...

My favorite moment with my German foreign-exchange student so far? My wife and I were leaving the house in two cars, and Anna didn’t know who to go with. I told her to “just go with your favorite one.” After a puzzled look, with a crooked smile, she said: “I’ll go with Cindy.”

Remember, in WoW, when you had to grind out leatherworking or some other skill? It’s worse than that, but in the best way possible.

This is "Dragonlance: Seekers of Solace". It's a levels 1-5 campaign set just prior to the War of the Lance. I did the layout for this book! It's currently on sale at 40% off www.dmsguild.com/product/4975...

Early this year, launching one of the most ambitious TTRPG Kickstarters we’ve ever done. Fury of the Forsaken is a dark, moody Norse tale that involves an undead siege of a laketown, written by Richard Pett and yours truly. Sign up to be notified when it goes live:

if you like set 13, here's set 12

I grew up doing music, art, and games. So yeah, I don’t get it either.

NGL I prefer making solo journaling games because getting a group together to playtest is scheduling hell

If you help, Travis’ family would appreciate it. www.gofundme.com/f/ka4wzt-hel...

I've been stewing on thoughts about skill-based TTRPGs—particularly games with skill ranks—and what kind of play that encourages and discourages. May write them up in a blog post.

New Shadowdark kickstarter announced! (I did the line art on the red one, #6)

This game has a very fun hook, and the mechanics do a great job of translating the theme into action. Loved it!

To my Friends: Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

My Secret Santa loves me.

Just finished recording a great episode of @masteringdnd.bsky.social with @alphastream.bsky.social. Lots and lots of game design talk that I just love.

I’m binging AP Bio on Netflix. It’s a surprisingly smart and sweet show.

I really, really miss the good old days when the DMs Guild was a tight community.
