Superb Owl!

Another place, another accessible toilet that has had the red emergency cord inexplicably cut.

I’ve finally hit the red button and deactivated both my Facebook and X accounts. Feels good.

Catching up with the @inside-the-ropes.bsky.social crew was amazing! I’ve missed these guys so much. Jim Ross was in top form as always.

It’s been amazing watching my 4-year-old daughter discover and play video games for the first time these last few weeks. She LOVES Sonic games, and seeing her experiencing them for the very first time makes me feel like it’s my first time as well. I REALLY hope it continues, it’s incredible.

Micro Machines is one of my favourite games on the Sega Mega Drive, so when a mint-in-box copy came up on eBay I had to have it! It's rare to find a copy with the original poster still included. I have scanned it, colour-corrected and restored it for preservation, and removed the fold lines.

Here's the other side of the Sonic the Hedgehog poster I restored last night. This side advertises the Mega Drive as "The Ultimate 16-Bit Games Console". It's not wrong. Look at that library of games, some absolute bangers. I scanned & restored this side for preservation and removed the fold lines

I bought a copy of Super Hang-On for the Sega Mega Drive on eBay, and it came with this AMAZING Sonic the Hedgehog poster which as far as I know is quite rare. It came bundled with Mega Drive consoles. I've spent the night scanning it, restoring it for preservation, and editing out the fold lines.

Question for my gaming followers/friends. I'm doing some restoration work on old UK gaming magazines. This is from Sega Power. Does anyone remember if this is poorly aged paper or was it this colour when it was printed? I never read it, I was always a Mean Machines reader.

For no reason at all, I’ve decided to create a spreadsheet detailing all PAL releases for video games and their review scores. I’m enjoying it more than I thought I would, flipping through tons of old digitised game magazines gathering the results. 8 and 16-bit consoles done! #videogames #reviews

After almost 30 years I’ve just noticed the “U” in the Sega Saturn logo is slightly bigger than the rest of the letter, and now I can’t unsee it.

It looks like ChatGPT drew it.

This is so hilarious

This is absolutely amazing.

This is massive news. One of the biggest publications and news organisations in the UK has completely pulled out of posting on “the other platform”. Surely more will follow. www.theguardian.com/media/2024/n...

Get to go home tomorrow after a week in the hospital. First thing I’m gonna do is surprise my daughter by picking her up from school. She doesn’t know dad’s coming home.

It’s so much nicer here isn’t it

My workplace just installed some new “telephone booth” pods for privacy and honestly the sound treatment in there is AMAZING! I might start doing voiceovers in them 😂

Forgotten what an absolutely wonderful game Arcade Paradise is.
