Happy Spring!

Clamping a new soundboard into Gordon Lightfoot’s old Steinway - with a little help from Thor’s hammer.

If you live in the GTA or along the QEW to Niagara- and if yours looking for a nice little grand piano (I know that’s a lot of ifs) check this out: www.kijiji.ca/v-piano-keyb...

it's clear now that republican trolls are squatting here. i know it's tempting to engage, but i cannot stress enough that blocking is the only way to preserve this community. block and move on. block and move on. block and move on.

In case you’re wondering why I posted this, I had a good friend who died alone, choking on a peanut butter sandwich. 😢

One thing I’m truly confused about. Since when did being the bad guy become cool? I may be old, but I remember when the U.S. rooted for Superman who stood for Truth, Justice, and the “American” way. Now they vote for the super villains? What’s next? Marvel Movies where everyone is Loco for Loki?

@sarahfritz.bsky.social Hi Sarah. Just followed you. I’m so happy you’re writing about Clara! I wrote a novel about a young pianist haunted by the ghosts of certain composers- Robert being one of them. I’d love it if you would read it. Clara is a small but interesting part of it!

The GO train I just boarded was filled with Swifties who debarked - heading to tonight’s concert. Everything in here is covered with sparkles.

Tuned a nice Steinway “M” at the St. Regis hotel.

If you’re wondering what I try to accomplish each day work-wise, here’s a little video! youtu.be/9GFLHiCLQXw?...

As a nerd who loves numbers I keep looking at the rising numbers of Bluesky users on their open source log.....over a million NEW users today 💙💙 Love it bsky-users.theo.io

Late 1960 - early 1970’s Hallman Organ, made in Kitchener, ON. I’m going to need a ladder (or a scaffold!) Oh, to be young again!

Although I’m loathe to post about politics, I must say: pundits saying that Elon is an idiot puppet might be doing him a big favour. The secret to be a successful super villain is to first make people think you’re the Joker. Remember, in the beginning, everyone thought Tesla was going to fail.

If you want to know how Donald Trump won the election, and want a good yarn, this book, “If it wasn’t for the cats…” might give you a big clue. www.amazon.ca/wasnt-cats-J...

Red sky at night, train riders delight. Red sky in the morning, train riders take warning.

Looks pretty good for a 120 year-old action!

Replacing all the key felt on this 1905 Mason & Risch grand. It’s a Canadian piano that’s making think (for some strange reason) of Italy! 🇮🇹

Thinking of something pithy to say on my first post here, is proving difficult. I’d like to promote my books, but that’s not what I’m here for. Mostly, I like to see what other people are doing. In the meantime, here’s a picture of what I’m working on right now - a 120 year old Bosendorfer.
