Please this has to happen in the UK!!!! (This and Pride & Prejudice aka 2 of my favourite movies from my 2 favourite directors IN the cinemas in 2025 was not something I thought would ever be on the cards!!!)

you can find out more about “Sinners” cinematographer Autumn Durald Arkapaw here: www.autumndurald.com

Ironically can't even access this article because it's part of a paywall (also without having read the piece - is this not a global issue given the current TV streaming models anyway?)

Do y'all know how long I've been waiting for this film JABAOANAKAKAL

OMGGG new Lynne Ramsay at Cannes the first year I'm going...the stars are aligning so much and I'm FREAKING out!!!! (And v excited)

This is all fascinating. I had no idea Ryan Coogler negotiated a contract where he kept final cut, first-line profits, and the rights to SINNERS after 25 years. But the idea of studio execs FREAKING OUT about it ("What if EVERY in-demand creative wants rights over their own work?") is even better.

Marcus Aurelius proved his Irish citizenship by eating an entire potato

It's still incredible to me that I can get on a flight, have a nap and then as soon as I wake up, start landing into a new country. Insane!

I can only laugh, just got my entire backpack with my laptop and keys stolen off the high street in London ..... Guess I half prepared for this but still sucks LMAO

It's iconic to me that the plot twist in BREAKING DAWN PART 2 still shocks my flatmates who have seen the film before but forgot about it. I'm still traumatised by the experience of watching it in the cinema as a teen and screaming "THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN IN THE BOOKS" to forget :')

Heatwave concerns absolutely valid in London....it's 21 degrees tomorrow (I can't believe I made it through winter)

Omg the concept of THE STUDIO...I am HOOKED!!!

Overheard at The Bridge @ Richard II: "the dialogue is, like, so Shakespearean" (said by a fellow Australian sadly)

staying up watching yet another bad netflix romcom feels incredibly on brand, and yet here i am still with tears running down my face (they get me every time)

Absolutely living for this 1995 Donmar broadcast of COMPANY (love that I can just casually watch this on BBC) 😭❤️🥲

The sass delivery men give you when asking you to buzz them into the building at 9pm - and all I wanted was them to confirm the name of the delivery. Like, sir. I would rather not get murdered by a stranger in the middle of watching ep 3 of Adolescence which is already giving me mini heart attacks 💟

Been following Alex Eala for the past few years and her run at the Miami Open is DELIGHTFUL to watch (even if it means defeating my fave Swiatek)!!! Such a rising star

adolescence really IS that show, just watched episode 1 and can't stop thinking about what the next ep holds. so impressed by how meticulous it is at showing police procedures/laws without sacrificing the insane tension and emotional drama

Horrific

Finally watched the MEAN GIRLS Musical - I loveeedd the new West End orchestrations / duet arrangement of "Stupid in Love" and surely this should justify a new cast recording alone

The ☀️ in Scotland really coming through ❤️

YESSSS one of my fave movies, Mitchell Leisen forever ❤️

The OGs remember Meghann from Next to Normal (and Unauthorised Autobiography of Samantha Brown!) and so thrilled to see her absolutely thriving

I hope you're all outside in the sun... but if you ARE looking at your phone, now's the last chance to take advantage of Exeunt and The Crush Bar's HISTORIC offer 20 per cent off, babes! That's four quid a month! I mean!!! exeuntmagazine.substack.com/subscribe thecrushbar.substack.com/subscribe

Not to keep waxing on about the weather but this week-long streak of perfect blue sky/sunny spring weather in London absolutely has me feeling like a brand new person (maybe an outdoor swim and then a pint in the sun will do that after months of darkness!)

Did not expect Curious Case of Benjamin Button the Musical to go so hard on the folk music vibe, wowza

There's simply no universe where what these two guys are saying should be controversial

jeremy strong's face when kieran culkin acknowledged him during his speech has me rolling out of my bed LAUGHING - simply spectacular

meanwhile this is IT www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3Qs...
