Somebody call me if he starts grabbing his chest and turning blue ‘cause that’s the only reason I’d watch anything that POS does.

We need a FOTUS/DOGE death report. They are and will be fully reasonable for deaths, and the numbers will be staggering.

Trump & Vance summoned Zelensky to the White House with a plan to humiliate him for an audience of one: Vladimir Putin. The most shameful behavior by a U.S. President since well, Tuesday’s Gaza video.

Back to Mapquest like it’s 1996. #gulfofmexico

Don't support the oligarchy. #supportsmallbusinesses #polisky #canadasky

Tesla earned $2.3 billion in the United States in 2024. You'd think it paid a lot in taxes, right? Well it paid precisely $0 in federal income taxes last year. You want waste and fraud? Look at what some big corporations and the rich are getting away with.

I'm specifically curious about what's happening physically at your offices -- people you don't recognize? Changes to how the space can be accessed or areas you can't go in? Get in touch!

Jesus Murphy, MapleMatch, where’s that version 2.0?!

My mother, who is on a fixed income, just told me she's "tariffied."

From this morning:

Rich branding: all the landlords calling themselves "housing providers" and acting like they're struggling heroes at LA City Council meeting. This city notoriously licks the boots of property owners as they are on the backs of renters. Now the struggling heroes are gaslighting about gouging.

The Auschwitz exhibit at Reagan Library in 2023 was horrifying. Everyone should have to see it and have your heart ache and stomach turn. Just a reminder that #neveragain is a commitment we all need to make.

Since it is Sunday there is not a whole lot to mention but here is where you can find me for more information. I would also appreciate if you can tag other people who you find are trying to help because there are always helpers helping. drrubin.substack.com/p/fda-recall...

This is the kind of directness, honesty, and constituent advocacy we need. Thank you, Congressman Sherman.

With my very last breath I will be saying “fuck Ticketmaster” #fireaid

Hell is empty, And all the devils are here. ~The Tempest

Goddamnit.

❤️ Todd Snider. Art flourishes in the dark ages. Support indie and local creators, labels, publishers, theatre companies, etc. It’s going to be a rough time for truth tellers and light bringers and community builders.

My hometown is strong. It will not fall to fascists. My beloveds in the Windy City, fight the good fight. Follow your hearts.

Dropped some supplies to a displaced friend in Pasadena. There’s no exaggerating how bad the air is. It’s suffocating and painful. No one should be unmasked in that area. Continued gratitude to the thousands of responders and mutual aides out there daily.

Know your rights.

I remember a friend taking me to see Eraserhead at an art house in Chicago. Whoa. Who imagines like that? Of course as a typical X, Twin Peaks is inseparable from my generational identity. David Lynch didn’t let his brain get in the way of his mind.

The dictionary entries for toxic, insecurity, stupid, incompetent, overcompensating, and dangerous should all have this jagoff's name included.

Rent is unfairly, extortively high anyway. This is frickin disgusting.

$100 gets you many 911 care items @ Dollar Tree to donate. I just cleared off some shelves in NoHo & dropped off at Garry Marshall Theatre w/ 25 bags of clothing/blankets we collected. Yesterday we collected for the animals. I have what I need; someone needs my excess even more.

Good people in the music community that need some help, if you can.

1) Woke up in a hotel, having evacuated from the Sunset Fire. Blessed with low winds and therefore the muscle of air drops, that danger was minimized quickly. Our fire fighters and first responders are world-class heroes who should get all the money our crap city council and mayor denied them.

Every cell in my body is shaking with anger. This is a precursor to how he will treat California during future emergencies, so I’m glad Governor Gavin Newsom is prepping us for self-defense.

This is the view from my balcony. While we are currently safe in Hollywood, not far away neighbors to the west, north, and east are experiencing tragedy. Winds just picked up again. Our first responders are heroes. Climate change is real.

LA City and County fire fighters are brave, caring heroes. What they do on a daily basis in this city is remarkable but the battle they are waging now in the Palisades, Altadena, and beyond is extraordinary. Please keep them in your best thoughts.

this year already: mass murder, RIP President Carter, certification of a felon as President, multiple weather related horrors. Reminder to revisit and update your physical (in home and go bags) and emotional emergency kits.

Watching The Twilight Zone marathon is my favorite way to start a new year. Rod Serling was brilliant at telling timeless stories about social crisis and personal fears. He was unflinching, but hopeful. He knew we could do better. If we chose to, individually and collectively. 😞

Jimmy Carter did more good for the world in just his senior years than most people do in their whole lives. What a blessing he was.

Drones vs UFOs is overtaking the fireworks vs guns polarizer on NextDoor. Lucky for us there are as many aviation experts as firearms experts in my neighborhood to really clear things up 😆

I get crap for choosing Amtrak to Chicago (which is truly janky travel) vs flying (which I dislike) but while watching Say Nothing I’m reminded of the incredible 42 hours I spent sitting next to an IRA member. He told me extraordinary stories of his time during The Troubles in the ‘70s & ‘80s.

Name a show you’re positive no one remembers but you.
