The $74 medical bill for annual tests that I spent several hours calling about, because it should be covered, ended with highmark telling me my doctor had to change the coding. Called my Dr. and now the bill has been changed to $264. WTF Highmark??

Another difficult day with the munchkin. He's in a very bad mood. Still not verbal and will be two in a couple of weeks. Trying to figure out what he wants in between the screaming fits is a crazy game of hot & cold as I carry him around the kitchen asking what he wants. My ears are numb @ 11am.

Growing more celery and making bread crumbs, like I used to back on the farm. "But... why Debster?" you ask. The last 2 loaves I bought were on the stale end of things. And, something to use this big mortar and pestal I got at a yard sale last year. Plus, I can get out all the frustrations! Win/win!

Let's try again.The munchkin is almost 22 months now. Still pretty much nonverbal. He will say "choo-choo" when I read the train book. Or "tweet tweet" when I bring out my bird finger puppets. No "mommy, daddy, up, down, bottle," none of it. He's been super cranky this week and last. It's so hard.

..that kids who cut teeth late have delayed speech. It makes sense. But still. Today, he had a meltdown over getting his bath. We skipped it yesterday because of a fit. Today, I plopped him in the tub and quickly washed him up, him screaming. By the end of rinsing him, he'd decided a bath was ok.

I did manage to stay up and watch the lunar eclipse, thanks to a giant nap after morning yoga. So my pics suck. I imagine because it was so dark out. I've had better pics of the moon on regular nights, so yeah, I'm now blaming the moon 😛

Currently watching Tracker on Paramount while the kiddo naps. Justin Hartley, what's not to like!? Also watching The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher, on Disney at home. Trying to actually *watch* something instead of zoning out with reruns of Bull or Criminal Minds.
