Under Trump's new rules, veterans can be refused care by individual doctors just because they are unmarried, are registered Democrats, or identify as LGBTQ. VA is for ALL veterans, not just whoever Trump says. Every Senator needs to demand that this policy be reversed.

Silence Is Complicity Straighten your spine Speak & live your truth

Most whistleblowers and truth tellers have had to overcome enormous pressure to be silent about an unacceptable reality. Institutions can counter this enormous pressure to be silent by establishing a system that rewards truth telling. www.institutionalcourage.org/courage-in-a...

Sit down and shut up? No thanks. A Seattle Times columnist recently wrote a piece about me, implying that it's futile to call out the corrupt power grab that’s happening in DC. But that's exactly what Trump wants: to create a sense of apathy that silences critics. Not a chance. Read my response.

Got asked on an AMA tonight: “can you talk about why SNAP is so important?” So I shared my personal experience. 7 kids in our family and food stamps kept us fed when my dad got sick, lost his job, and mom had to look for work. SNAP is an investment in people. I won't support ANY cuts to SNAP.
