When I'm feeling down I check how much they've marked down the massive display of Harry Potter limited edition snacks and drinks at my local supermarket that no one ever seems to touch. Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to do that anymore as they're all in the 75% off LAST CHANCE CLEARANCE section.

I took this past week off from work because I needed time to catch up on classwork, prepare documents before I start my job search, do all the stuff that goes into getting a new apartment, and relax. Made good time on everything but that last one. I don't remember the last time l was this burnt out.

I see this and I'm once again reminded of the frequent attempts to claim conservatism is "the new punk." Not only is punk aesthetically and politically incompatible with punk, conservatism can't be counter culture because it is, in America, very much the culture. It's just not cool. They're lame.

I don't wanna do the whole "Is Black Mirror good, was it ever good, did it stop being good and if so where" deal again. IMO: quality has always been all over the place episode by episode rather than season by season. Episodes that don't feel targeted at a specific real tech trend tend to age best.

I've kind of always felt Yellowjackets was a bit of a train wreck, even found that to be part of the show's appeal, but this season and last two episodes in particular are even more of a train wreck than before.

There are things I understand using chatgpt for. Not condone, but like I get the impulse. But grocery lists? Why? Chatgpt seems uniquely bad for those. It doesn't understand cooking because it doesn't understand anything, it's not going to actually give you a good meal plan.
