Having extreme mixed reactions to this. A child shouldn’t be afraid to bring books to school. That’s horrible. But…..did Florida just make reading books cool because they said you can’t bring books to school? I think this is going to backfire so much.

My department had to show how we are incorporating the science of reading into our education curriculum. We spent so many months working on it. It was turned down a number of times. Yesterday, I finally did the finishing touches and got it approved because the reviewer and I were in contact.

Things I did today: 1. Revised sped syllabi 2. Organized paperwork for grant 3. Got enrollment paper signed 4. Submitted banking documents 5. Corrected reading paperwork 6. Lockdown because of gunperson 7. Mail grant application 8. Went to wake for former coworker 9. Got reading paper approved

I had to go to the enrollment office in tribal offices to get paperwork signed that says I’m a member of my tribe. They were closed! I can go tomorrow but it’s annoying.

Watched a movie called Significant Other and realized I have a thing for stories where a loved one gets replaced by a “monster” and falls in love with the human. In this case it was an alien.

For my birthday watching an anime where a girl turns into an uncontrollable dragon when she’s attracted to a guy. She’s attracted to a number of guys.
