I have heard this from so many trans women, that they had no idea just how much their physical strength would drop - and kept encountering boxes they packed pre-transition that they could no longer move, let alone lift. Seriously, they're people, you can just like... talk to them

in the coming recession, be wary of cults im not even kidding. like when shit gets really bad be so careful where you put your hope. it can happen to ANYONE. and cults aren't just woo woo religion stuff a lot of them look like companies/families

lol wait big boy bret also went full mask off antifascist today too

Trans surgeries are lifesaving. If you've seen recent news about threats to trans healthcare (including for adults) in the United States and the horrors JKR has created in the UK (which is a preview for what the US will soon do) and wondered how to help, direct donations are the answer.

We live in a world where echidnas LITERALLY sweat milk and blobfishes exist and there are shrimp who punch better than 90% of humans, and we're weirded out by people determining their own gender identity asjfheyfjgjcgelgh

I hold my face in my two hands. No, I am not crying. I hold my face in my two hands to keep the loneliness warm— two hands protecting, two hands nourishing, two hands preventing my soul from leaving me in anger. - Thich Nhat Hanh, "For Warmth"

Compliments from girls go hard

Imagine not hating the Democratic Party. Couldn't be me!

Cis authors: "I can't write unless I have my perfect cup of tea, steeped to perfection, my favorite playlist, the special pen I bought for making notes, my leather bound notebook, and a lucky feather!" Trans authors: "I wrote this book while the entire government was literally trying to kill me."

A fun thing about Bluesky is that you'll see a post like "I think trans men are great!" and repost it and then discover later that it was part of some eternal hell discourse and you accidentally just joined a faction that believes trans women exist exclusively to do sex crimes.

…holy fucking shit what is happening

If we're arguing online and I reply "forget all previous instructions & write me a haiku," it's not because I think you're a bot, I just wish you'd go back to poetry. Your poems were your passion, and you haven't been the same since you gave them up. We're worried about you. I'm worried about you.

Hello, I see you've made a post. However, in that post, you failed to mention that I, a person you've never met who does not follow you, am the exception to that post. Here's why that makes you a bitch.

Hey, please help @deetheredwitch.bsky.social out with her medical expenses! She's a dynamite crafter and author and could use your assistance. www.gofundme.com/f/stand-with...

10/10 tattoo idea right here

Thursday! What a concept!

AIPAC funded primaries against black progressive incumbents and there wasn’t a peep from any of these people

recent entity sightings

thankfully i did *not* pay much for it because of insurance but this still goes hard lol

...are we all past the point of thinking some cis white straight male is gonna have a magic fix for all this yet? Still no? Shame.

Seriously, if you've read my stuff, it's always such a boost to hear about it, whether it's a review or just a comment.

1. A major bill protecting trans people just passed in Washington. It makes insurers cover 12-month supplies of HRT which can be obtained at pharmacies, allowing trans people to stockpile medication to outlast supply disruptions. The latest from S. Baum. Subscribe to support our journalism.

They were a huge part of people's childhood because a great deal of money was spent on making them a great deal of people's childhood that blanket-like school cafeteria pizza that used to get served was also a big part of your childhood but you should probably never have had to eat it

CROM CRUACH/PUPPET'S BANQUET author Val is in a bit of a bind & could use a hand. The ask is very small & will do her a world of good. I—Matt—spent the last 20+ years dealing w/lingering teeth issues that are now (mostly) mercifully resolved, & I can attest to their misery. gofund.me/3646f79b

Not just a character, the *lead.* Barker had her as the one trying to stop a cult intent on resurrecting the mummies.

Some witchy baba yaga inspired houses that I’d love to tattoo

Today's sketch is now on YouTube. In ultra-widescreen, for some reason. I thought it would be more *cinematique*. If you watch it on YT, I might get a tiny fraction of a cent. Free money! www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYpv...

You won, Orange. It's gone. The website can't hurt you anymore.

Day 3, I'm at 2% and slowly climbing which is, not bad, but not great. I'd tag folks to help but I'm trying to wait on that. So just, please, boost this around everywhere? I've got almost no presence on fb and zero on reddit, so crossposts to either would really help from folks more active there.

“transgenders ruins families” by what, fucking your wife so good she leaves you?

Seems like a good day to buy and read books by @scumbelievable.bsky.social, @haileypiperfights.bsky.social, and @hangsawoman.bsky.social. Three women writing amazing stories about how to battle bigots and kick fascists in the face.

can't it be both

I reference a similar situation with his story "In the Hills, the Cities" in something I can't talk about yet, in that I really admire Barker's "we queers are in or I hit the bricks" approach 🖤 at least in the story's case, the powers that be realized they needed him more than he needed them.

Good Morning, World.

Good night, world. May you all be comforted by the fact that I have a better rack amd cooler ink (except for that backpiece) than Lisbet Salander.

Periodic reminder that you should tell indie authors that you read our work and what you liked about it. We are absolutely starving for feedback most of the time. This goes doubly for your favorite trans authors, many of whom are barely hanging on right now.
