Having now watched the footage and interview two of the members who were there, the amount of armed, masked federal agents surrounding three members of Congress and a mayor outside the ICE facility was totally unnecessary; the only possible reason for it was intentional escalation and intimidation.

The judge should tell him that if 24 hours is a reasonable time for a random immigrant to submit a habeas petition to avoid being send to an overseas torture prison, it's a generous amount of time for the whole DoJ to answer a simple question of fact.

This is absolutely outrageous and has already been confirmed by a federal judge to violate a previous order that he issued. Sitting back and saying "phew, we stopped that" isn't nearly enough. We need an immediate and aggressive investigation into the what the hell is going on and on whose orders.
