One thing Democratic leadership could do right now is to name an alternate HHS secretary--someone to provide ongoing public updates and health information. And do it for other departments too. Start showing voters what a Democratic government would look like--press conferences, speeches, all of it.

Fox News Sunday mocking Chuck Schumer for holding up "an avocado and a carton of eggs". Then everyone laughs when the host says it took "16 days" for Dems to "dust off their old playbook to impeach the president". Plus rampant gaslighting and gloating that they're at the Super Bowl. Despicable.

Honest question for @marcelias.bsky.social & other lawyers: Congress passed a law banning TikTok. SCOTUS, after reviewing a challenge to it, upheld the law. But Trump can just wave it away? Can write an EO restoring it? The president's a king now? Someone 'splain it to me like I'm 5, please?
