In the process of wiping my Facebook profile as clean as I possibly can, and discovered you can look back through people you have unfriended over the years, and boy oh boy does that ever bring back some interesting memories that I will not be sharing.

This is a tiny optics thing, really, but I think it's worth remembering that when campaigners win real civil rights after court battles, you don't tend to see them popping champagne bottles or triumphantly smoking cigars on yachts.

Every public toilet I've ever used has a sign saying both male and female attendants clean them. Funnily enough, no one is trying to stop that, because it's not about what they pretend it's about.
