What do veterans, doctors, TSA employees, teachers and parents all have in common? They all showed up at an Arizona town hall to describe the turmoil that Trump’s administration has caused them. Dem AGs listened and are taking action. www.msnbc.com/alex-wagner-...

This week, I filed two new lawsuits against the Trump Admin for unlawful actions that will hurt countless workers, students, and Californians. As CA AG, I will always demand fair treatment and justice for all.   Read the CA DOJ Weekly Update to learn more. content.govdelivery.com/accounts/CAO...

While this administration continues to attack the CFPB and leave consumers in the lurch, my office will do everything we can to step up and fill that void. If you have a consumer complaint, come to us—we are here to help.

“‘As a team of Democratic attorneys general, we are going around this country to listen to you. Because if the president is unwilling to listen to you,’ Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield said, ‘we will do it for him.’”

@azagmayes.bsky.social is a testament to the powerful women who came before her – and an inspiration to those coming next.

Yesterday proved why North Carolina needs an Attorney General who can challenge unlawful executive orders. We won an injunction against an order that would have cut hundreds of millions in research funding from our public universities and research institutions.

Dem AGs did that.

In the first of a series of town hall events, Arizona AG Mayes, Minnesota AG Ellison, New Mexico AG Torrez, and Oregon AG Rayfield will hear from impacted federal workers. dems.ag/tonight-tune...

You sure?

AGs Mayes, Rayfield, Ellison, and Brown are eager to speak with Americans impacted by the Trump administration’s federal firings and DOGE funding cuts and freezes. Unlike some members of the other party, Dem AGs will never hide from the people they work for. dems.ag/wednesday-de...

Trump is a president with the same amount of power as the presidents before him. No matter how badly he wants to be one, he is NOT a king.

ICYMI - Over the weekend, I shared my emotional attachment to the CFPB. Now that the agency is under attack, I think back to all of the consumers in Minnesota that it has helped, and to my late friend Sharon Tolbert-Glover, who stood with me in the fight to create the agency.

Trump promised to end surprise medical bills. He just fired the team responsible for doing that. www.npr.org/sections/sho...

Many illegally fired federal employees will attend Trump’s address to the Joint Session of Congress. It’s going to be an interesting evening.

Dem AGs won’t ever sit by and watch Trump be a bully. They will stand up for justice every time.

Medicaid helped me take care of myself and my son — lifting up two generations of my family. I’m not alone. If federal funding is cut, 312,000 Nevadans could lose their coverage, making us the third hardest-hit state in the nation.

I won’t stand by while billionaires in Washington, D.C. rip away vital care from those who served our great nation to pay for tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. More here: www.azag.gov/press-release/attorney-general-mayes-blasts-doge-cuts-hurting-arizona-veterans-urges-attendance

From coast to coast, Democratic AGs have been working nonstop to defend the Constitution and the rights of Americans. Read more about our work in POLITICO today: www.politico.com/news/2025/02...

Dem AGs are filing lawsuits and winning in court. Follow us to keep up with their progress!

DC has been governing itself for over 50 years. The last thing the District needs is a self-described king. @dcattorneygeneral.bsky.social

Retweet, AG. ✊

Dem AGs spent almost a full year prepping for Trump’s second term. Which is why they’ve been so quick, coordinated, and successful.

Outrageous. Unacceptable. Infuriating. It is estimated that 6,000 veterans have likely been fired by DOGE. The federal government should be protecting veterans’ jobs, not stripping them of their livelihoods. punchbowl.news/article/wash...

*** In case you missed it *** AG Ford hailed a federal judge's decision to grant a preliminary injunction in the New York v. Donald J. Trump case, which aims to prevent DOGE from accessing personal information at the Department of the Treasury. shorturl.at/9bFqR

Andrea Campbell @massago.bsky.social: "Some call the #CFPB a rogue agency when in fact the agency is taking on corporations that have gone rogue"

With so much chaos in Washington for Dem AGs to tackle, it’s pretty wild that GOP AGs are doing nothing but wasting their time. Don’t worry, guys, we’ll take on the real issues! thenationaldesk.com/news/nation-...

From day one, we haven't shied away from standing up to Trump or his co-president Elon Musk when they've violated the law. And we're not backing down anytime soon.

We're not backing down. I'll be D.C. this week with @warren.senate.gov to talk about why the CFPB is a critical tool for anyone who works to earn a living and how we as state AGs partner with them to hold big corporations accountable.

Of course the dismantling of the CFPB isn't actually about reducing government spending or introducing reform. The CFPB's job is to protect the little guy from getting exploited by greedy corporations. This is the richest man in the world trying to make it easier for his friends to cheat you.

Gender-affirming care is life saving. Trans youth's health care decisions shouldn't be in the hands of politicians intent on restricting their freedom for political gain. I'm leading a coalition of state AGs to support @pflag.org and call on the court to protect our young people from this cruelty.

We will defend the rule of law, DC Home Rule, and the right to govern ourselves.

“Trump’s reality television tactics will be countered through the courts, said Lopez.” 👏

The CFPB exists to protect consumers from bad actors looking to take advantage of them. The only people who stand to benefit from its demise are scammers, fraudsters, and lawbreakers. www.thecentersquare.com/national/art...

Today, Attorney General Aaron D. Ford joined a coalition of 16 attorneys general in issuing a joint statement ahead of a court hearing in Commonwealth of Massachusetts v. National Institutes of Health.

Across the country, Dem AGs have been working early mornings and late nights.

🚨Reminder that while Dem AGs are fighting tooth and nail to defend birthright citizenship, 18 GOP AGs are actively supporting Trump’s effort to abolish it. Unclear whether they forgot they’re supposed to defend the Constitution, or if they’ve just never read it.

Ninth Circuit blocks Trump’s hateful birthright citizenship EO. www.google.com/url?q=https:...
