@michaelsteele.bsky.social I like your take on Medicaid. Thank you - it’s much more complicated when you have an adult that because of limited mental capacity - they rely on Medicaid. I hold medical POA for my brother & going through this right now. He needs a procedure but it’s not covered.

A backstory. My only brother is on Medicaid. He 72 yo. He’s mentally handicapped since birth. I went to the ER with 1 of his caretakers. He needed medical help. I have POA decisions. There is NO way he could care for himself. #HandsOFF #SayNoToMedicaidCuts #HandsOffMedicaid #HandsOffSS
