And we got finger-wagged by a New England journo "expert" for not staying in our lane and sticking to our knitting (his words) and leaving hard stuff to (paywalled) NYT and Wapo. So we were right, and we did the right thing, and we didn't need anyone's permission to make our own news decisions.

Worse than Munich 1938. When Chamberlain appeased Hitler, Germany had the strongest military on the continent and hadn’t launched a big attack. Now, US has the strongest military on the continent, and Russia is weakened from 3 years of war. This isn’t from fear and hope, it’s helping the aggressor.

There was yet another airplane crash in Covington, GA yesterday which left 2 dead. I don’t remember this many plane crashes happening under any actual Presidency in such a short amount of time, but then again no one has ever gutted FAA to purposely make air travel unsafe before.

The people who benefit from imperialism will be just fine during the fall of empire. They've hoarded the wealth and they'll just move on. But the people exploited to enable imperialism, the people monetized and abused to make the system work...they're the ones who will be harmed.
