So, I had an appointment with the ophthalmologist today. Had no idea they were going to dilate my eyes. Me and my Ford F-350 were a force to be reckoned with on the way back to the office.

It has been my custom to watch the biz news programs each morning. I hear the guests constantly comment on how the markets will come back, things will settle down, the chaos will abate. What planet do these people live on? The bridge is out. There are no brakes on the train.

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

The Chinese will come calling with their shopping cart.

I stand with the penguins.

If you are in central Arkansas, then on April 26, you need to come be amongst us. www.arkansashospice.org/plaza2025

Cameron Dawson was on Bloomberg this morning and she was impressive as usual. She had a great line regarding corporate America when she alluded to "arrested development in decision making." I've got to think on that one, for it seems decision making is what CEOs are hired to do, above all else.

I see a lot of posts bemoaning #seedoils, and just as many dismissing those posters as fools. I know not the science, but my experience says that putting them away will yield a dramatic difference in quality of life. I'm 2 months in. I'll never go back. Never.

So, here is my prediction: The entire student loan portfolio will be transferred to Treasury. It will then be auctioned off to the Primaries like bills or bonds. They, having purchased at a steep discount, will ramp up collections, possibly with the same bankruptcy protections.

“arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon. no matter how good you are, they’ll just knock over the pieces, shit on the board, and strut around like they won.”

So, I hire out of the foster care system sometimes. A real battle as an employer. When it is hard I am reminded of this quote. I do not remember the author.

Here it comes. No real reason needed, just do it. Keep your eyes open, your head down and your powder dry. Once they get a taste of this kind of power the appetite will be insatiable. During the inauguration hundreds of state police troopers were deputized as federal agents. Perhaps for this

So, I'm getting word that in some places the states are being overwhelmed with unemployment claims from federal workers. I pay both state and federal unemployment. The federal is just a pittance. I guess that is about to change since that fund is probably what pays the states. Thanks Elon.

So, I'm guessing the European IPO market is about to be hot. Trump, in his flawed effort to make America great, has just handed the keys to industrial prowess to the EU. I'll be watching the strength of the Euro.

So, I'm not very smart. I'll be the first to admit it. I barely got a high school diploma and even then, my GPA was a 1.3. That notwithstanding, I read a lot and I try to stay informed as to what is going on around me. I'm a fairly sophisticated investor with substantial experience in the market.

So, here is my question. Is the entire student loan industry about to collapse? I'm no expert on this kind of thing, but it seems to me that there is this whole incestual relationship between the lenders and college administrators. Big paychecks and building campaigns with the burden of payments

@bloomberg.com Surveillance is my go to every morning. Mercy. Today they just seem stunned at the data and earnings forecasts coming across the wire. All this talk about uncertainty and the like Come on people. He made very clear what he was going to do. Project 2025 was out there and available.

He was a few months ahead of himself.
