Secured my Nordic.js ticket today πŸŽ‰

Have gotten into building a mini #homelab. Just finished designing and printing the final panel, a framework mainboard 10" 1U slot.

I've been interviewing lots of candidates for a fullstack engineer role and the similarities between candidates are very interesting to me. Majority leans into frontend rather than backend, prefers mongodb and the "mern stack". It's of course a small dataset but still interesting metrics.

The audacity of Claude to first hit me with a "Actually, that's not quite correct." and then fall back to "Ah - you're absolutely right and I was wrong."

I find it really interesting that when a developer uses Vue or Angular for web they rather go for flutter for cross platform mobile dev rather than expo/react native. Do they really despise react that much?

Just got this in the mail. Someone knew my Tesla lease is coming to an end soon.

Oh boy, ghostty is just so good!

Back on macos today after two solid months on linux. I hate to say it but it feels so good to be back. Missing my WM though.

My biggest quality of life improvement this year so far has been to add the Reminders widget to my Lock Screen on iOS.

Secured the white limited edition steam deck!

Working on a project outside of Github is like going for a run without your fitness tracker. It's like it doesn't count and you don't feel as good afterwards.

It bums me out every day that Grovemade doesn't ship to Europe.

Need more #golang gophers in my feed!

I switch audio outputs multiple times per day and now when I run sway there's no built in feature that helps me to this, so I wrote a small script. When the feature usually is a dropdown in macos/gnome desktop I always opt for using fzf.

Linux hits you so hard when going from gnome in Ubuntu to some other window manager. You want to connect to a WiFi, you need a script for that. Raise/lower volume your system audio, write a script and bind it to some key. Don't get me started on adjusting screen brightness.
