Situations like this are exactly why something like PARABOLA is necessary. You can easily define custom techniques like this in a way not unlike doing simple math on the data. Creating and modifying techniques and other extensions will be as simple as filling out a form.

Sharing that the app is very much a Real Thing already. GitHub.com/PARABOLAEngineering/projectkronos This program allows you to create a 192 byte universal binary kernel that will store the positions of the planets accurately for an unlimited amount of time, by the second. (Tested with 30k years.)
