I don't want a thin glass/metal phone. I want a clean, rubberized exterior that is thick enough to eliminate the camera bump, but not "utilitarian". Just make it functional as hell. The iphone design language is ugly, and knowing how fragile it has always been, makes previous ones ugly too IMO

Pre-internet (and its maturity), people would find out about events in the newspaper and on television. It was easier to funnel the same info to everyone. Conversely, it’s now much harder to get some of that information as reliably. This is why “centralized” is often a feature.
