No you are not "contextualizing baseball" you were rationalizing vicious inappropriate behavior as being something that there is no recourse from, while we can all see that everyday we change things, and that every day of the existence of baseball has contained changes for the better in the world.

The courts have spoken a 100 times. AS AN AMERICAN YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO FILM POLICE OFFICERS IN PUBLIC SPACES PERFORMING THEIR DUTIES. It's not a California thing. It's an American thing. (Make sure you know the law, before you cite the law, it's essential to the exercise of your rights.)

Organizer-- who's job is to grow consensus -- insults everyone who is not standing next to her. Result: Bunch of idiot, low information lefties, who already agree w/ her say "yeah" & like post. Net Gain: Negative how many people were convincible that stopped listening b/c of insult. Great job.

Was an interesting weekend to finish this book to say the least, but wanted to recommend MARTYR! to anyone who hasn’t read it. Just astoundingly beautiful prose (you can tell the author is a poet), with so much to say about the stories we tell about ourselves and others.

Most bullshit representation of what happened imaginable. Total white wash of reality, total lack of context. This is Hannity level crap. Couldn't get everything, weren't the votes, got what they could, let senators vote f/ bill in swing states/districts so constituents wishes honored. Grow up.

Remember this? Does the @nytimes.com remember this?
