yup!! that's happened to me quite a bit... i am such a victim to scope creep, wanting to fit in every cool idea that comes to mind regardless of rationality... but doing that, and seeing other indie devs do that too, is what makes indie games feel more special imo!

i love that method of knowing point A and B beforehand, then cooking up whatever nonsense fills the gaps. i feel like it leads to wackier results, rather than changing point B into whatever is the most natural thing after point A. more creative, less predictable, but risks being too contrived... •ᴗ•
