Giving these Dresden plates new life. This has been a huge project. It took me longer to take apart the 90 year old quilt to save the Dresden plates than it would have to piece a top. I love how it turned out. #quiltbluesky #vintagequilts #longarmquilting #refurbishedquilts #quilts #dresdenplates

Refurbishing 1940s Dresden plates. It was so destroyed and covered in mold. I soaked the quilt for a week then cut the Dresden plates out replacing them with muslin. I am so excited to finish piecing this and getting it on the long arm. #refurbishing #repurposed #vintage #vintagequilts #dresdenplate
