Was just thinking about Alien Romulus and I think it actually kinda made AVP2 fit in with the series’ lore better. The maternity ward scene in the latter is still kinda ridiculous, but the xenomorph extract in Romulus gave another example of Aliens altering human DNA in utero to resemble xenomorphs
