How about this. @TeamHoman has won 121 out of their last 132 games in the past two seasons. 67-7 last year. 54-4 this year. There isn't a team in sports that's played this much and won that much

And the real winners on this Curling Day in Canada are all of us. For getting to watch two epic curling games at the Scotties today, laced with sensational shot-making. The conclusion tomorrow. I love curling.

RACHEL HOMAN THIS IS NOT A RECORDING That runback for two. It’s not fair. It’s over. Checkmate. It’s an 8-4 victory and that’s 20-straight wins at the Scotties for @TeamHoman. Into the final.

Steal of two for Homan in the 7th. And while Einarson has pulled off a couple remarkable comebacks this week, this might be too steep of hill. It’s now 6-2 Homan leading now heading to the 8th end.

That last shot by Homan is why they’re the greatest team on the planet. They all talked about it. Team communication. All in. Firing on all cylinders. What a treat for us to bear witness to this.

RACHEL HOMAN How good is that?! Through the port. For two. Sensational. It’s 4-2 Homan leading. Einarson hammer in the 7th end.

All tied up at the break. Einarson scores two in the fifth end. It’s 2-2. Time to get some snack and reload for the half. Homan has hammer in the 6th end. Winner to the Scotties final.

GAME 🥌 TIME Good evening curling fans. It’s time for the 1vs2 game. Homan vs Einarson right now at the Scotties. Winner to the final. Loser plays Team Black in the semifinal.

What brilliant showcase of elite curling that was by Team Black and Team Skrlik. It’s one of those games it’s a shame there was to be a team that loses. And so now there’s just three remaining at the Scotties - Homan, Einarson, Black.

NOVA SCOTIA FOR THE WIN Team Black is moving on at the Scotties. What a fantastic curling battle. And what an attempt to tie it by Skrlik. It’s an 8-7 final. Black now plays the loser of Einarson vs Homan in the semifinal.

Nova Scotia strikes back with THREE in the 9th Christina Black with two gems. And so to the 10th end we go. Nova Scotia up 8-6. Alberta has the hammer.

They’re making everything out there right now. This is fun. Curling is fun. What a game this has been. Alberta up 6-5 in the 9th. Nova Scotia hammer.

Alberta’s Skrlik cracks a THREE in the 8th end. It’s now 6-5 Alberta leading Nova Scotia heading to the 9th end. Team Black has the hammer. Hold on folks

CURLING 🥌 DAY IN CANADA Celebrating the roaring game with all the curling today. Down at the Winter Festival at Roundhouse in Toronto. It’s 4-3 Nova Scotia leading Alberta with hammer in the 7th end.

CHRISTINA BLACK Anything you can do I can do better. Skrlik sunk one under cover. Black long angle raise takeout for two. Outstanding curling. It’s 4-2 Nova Scotia heading to the 5th end

Some really nice curling right now. Great game. It’s tied 2-2 heading to the 4th end after Alberta’s Skrlik scores two. Nova Scotia has hammer in the 4th end.

A lineup change for Nova Scotia heading into the third end. Jen Baxter is out. Marlee Powers into the game. Putting on the mic and right into the action. No word at this point on what led to Baxter’s departure from the game.

Nova Scotia opens with two in the first end to take a 2-0 lead on Alberta. Team Black looking to become the first team from Nova Scotia to win the Scotties since my pal @cbccolleenjones fearsome foursome won four-straight in the early 2000s

My favourite time of the Scotties. One game on the sheets. Ratchet up the pressure Nova Scotia vs Alberta right now in the 3vs4 game. Team Black throwing yellow, has the hammer. Winner moves on. Loser is eliminated.

It seems fitting that the final four teams remaining at the Scotties are the four top-ranked teams in Canada. Homan is undoubtedly the favourite to defend her title, having gone undefeated until now. But it’s the Scotties. And we know anything can happen. Enjoy it folks.

CANADA FOR THE WIN Canada's Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier capture ice dance gold at the Four Continents. Marjorie Lajoie and Zachary Lagha won bronze. Can't wait for the world championships in Boston. I'll be there with coverage from start to finish. www.cbc.ca/sports/olymp...

This first and second end between Homan and Black is the reason they call curling chess on ice. Strategy. Angles. Weight. Fascinating stuff. So fun to watch when the shots are called and made.

MORE CURLING! It’s getting serious at the Scotties. Just six teams remain. Time for the 1vs2 qualifying games. Homan vs Black — Einarson vs Skrlik Here we go folks.

It’s another perfect round robin for @TeamHoman at the Scotties. Homan goes 8-0 and has now won 19 consecutive games at the Scotties going back to last year’s undefeated victory. Alberta’s Skrlik 2nd and BC’s Brown 3rd.

"Surely.... that's gotta be it!" Bob Cole would have loved a day like today. And lived for a game like tonight. His call of the 2002 gold medal win for Canada over USA was some of his best work. youtu.be/5o9mfYq-phY?...

Jennifer Jones has arrived at the Scotties. She’s behind the bench for Team Homan for the rest of the event as coach. Homan looking to have another perfect round robin at the Scotties. Leading Alberta’s Sturmay 4-2 in the 6th end.
