Mother Jones is the one publication I have seen so far focused on what is important about this ruling. Birthright Citizenship affects comparatively few people. Gutting the power of the courts will affect every single everyday American.

The headlines should not be " #SCOTUS Rules In Favor of Trump on #BirthrightCitizenship". They should be "SCOTUS Rules in Favor of Trump Harassing Americans With Frivolous Executive Orders and Actions". That is what they really have done. It is a ruling in favor of tyranny.

News media is focused on the ideological fight about #birthrightcitizenship in reporting on the #SCOTUS ruling today. Far more important is the fact that the court just made it impossible for any court to limit the harm from ANY action Tyrant Trump takes. ANY action. Trump can harass anyone, and

1. I refuse to hitch my rights to a trans wagon that spouts nonsense - at least not until that nonsense is heavily backed by science. Trans is real and its people have just as much right to rights as me, of course, but they don't have the right to make over the entire gender paradigm with 70 genders

This is a far more important story for the welfare of everyday Americans than Trump schmoozing with a now subservient Europe. The more the news media stands up to him, the more likely it is Americans will have a correct perception built on the news it receives. Democracy lives with free minds.

Much as I have schadenfreude in the Musk-Trump divorce, I think it is absolutely corrupt that Bezos believes rightly that he can probably capitalize on it for his company Blue Origin. Things being decided this way is very bad for the country and bad for our people.

If #Mamdani had lost the primary and was floating the idea of running in the general election anyway, there would be a hue and cry from the Democratic establishment on some sort of principle they supposedly believe in. The fact they aren't bringing the hammer down on #Cuomo? hypocrisy

One thing Trump hates is poor ratings on the Trump Show. After a failed military parade and a failed, unfounded, attack on Iran, one shudders to think what he might do next to try to get his 'ratings' back up. Yikes.

1. #Mamdani win in New York is just another indicator that people are no longer buying what the Democratic Establishment has been selling. And with good reason. I am an institutionalist. Oh, not in the sense that I think the Dem establishment was worthy of our votes (I voted for Bernie and then
