Airplane reading. I've never read any of the Melnibone saga, and honestly know very little about Elric. Long, long overdue. 5 pages in and I'm hooked.

Very cool little article. Battlestar Galactica - and specifically Starbuck's arc - served as personal inspiration (along with many others) for the Starborn in Starfield. And I am definitely in the camp of "never say, and leave it to the viewer's imagination."

Robin Hoooood! Once you master the archery in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, it's kind of a game changer. Most hardcore archery in any game ever and I loved it. Just uninstalled the game after doing... just about everything. Now on to the sequel! Fun fact: last achievement I got was "Alcoholic." 😬🥴🍺

We chillin'.

Last night I unwisely decided I could "quickly run through" Kingdom Come: Deliverance's "A Woman's Lot" DLC. Had to call it a night at 3:30am. What a fantastic, well-written and meaningful questline. And don't be fooled by petite Theresa - you can play her as a stone cold gangsta.

With these two new sigils, I am now protected from the Elder Gods. And hopefully... other evil forces. Hey, you do what you can.

Are you a gamer?! Do you wish you could support Ukraine but just don't know how?! May I suggest...? @frogwares-games.bsky.social

(🧵1/3) Terry Brooks is finally retiring. At 81! Got me nostalgic for the fantasy books that shaped me from 7-14 (others, like LOTR and Ice and Fire, came later) The standouts: * Chronicles of Prydain * Sword of Shannara * The Hobbit * Early Dragonlance

I can't comment on this over at X, because I left that platform a few months back. So I'll share the love here. As the primary writer of Starfield's narrative, I really, really appreciate the kind words of fellow dev and industry legend @davidscottjaffe.bsky.sociaI "I feel seen" as the kids say. 🤓

Little light evening reading.

Man, Kingdom Come: Deliverance has the most hardcore archery of any RPG ever (or any other game for that matter). I love it so much. Don't bother zooming in to see the crosshair - there ain't one. 😂

My body type has always been more "defend our Dwarven lord in his mountain realm" and less "scale the actual mountain," but life is about new challenges!

Brewing Saviour Schnapps while my wife is cuddled up napping next to me. I can think of worse ways to spend a chilly winter Saturday. ♥️ 🧪🗡️

www.youtube.com/watch?v=gl6W... May 20th! W00T! And you can download the character creator and PC benchmark test now. @tascha.bsky.social - Congrats on the announce!

Long ago, I wanted to work for Bethesda because of my deep love of first-person fantasy RPGs. Didn't realize at the time - Bethesda was really one of the only developers making them. So to play a cool first-person fantasy RPG I haven't worked on is SUCH a gift. Congrats @obsidianent.bsky.social!

He's helping.

Okay, so I'm a few years late in discovering Godfall. The lunch pitch convo for this game must have been wild. "I want to make a re-imagined Thundercats sci-fi action RPG, with Lion-O voiced by a guy who sounds like Geralt." "But we don't have the Thundercats license." "Whatever." I dig it.

You know, when I first started working on the Fallout franchise in... 2006? I never in my wildest dreams could have expected where it would all go. So the realization that I can choose Vault Boy as my Prime video avatar is pretty damned surreal. @bethesdastudios.com @fallout.bethesdastudios.com

Right now the only thing preventing me from playing more Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is the fact that I am deep into another playthrough of the original Kingdom Come Deliverance. That's what I get for "jumping in for a few minutes to re-familiarize."

Why you be gamershaming me, Samsung?! 😭😂

OMG I adore this game. It's essentially Stardew Valley as developed by Edgar Allen Poe. Thank you @realabdulrahman.bsky.social for the recommendation!

Tails of Iron by @oddbugstudio.bsky.social is what what you get when you cross storybook visuals with brutal medieval melee combat. Like a grimdark Redwall with a heart of metal. (Narration by Doug Cockle of Geralt fame is the cherry on top.) ♥️

I play so many different kinds of video games it's a little weird even to me that I haven't really been grabbed by the Metroidvania genre. I guess that just changed. A Lovecraft-inspired mansion in 1920s Boston sure doesn't hurt, but it's the art direction and exploration that really have me hooked.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about Dune Awakening releasing sooooooonnn. (or soon enough, I hope!) 🐛

I fondly remember the days when my Rebel Alliance tattoo was just a fun Star Wars decoration and not a call to action.
