What's the pettiest thing you've done for revenge? When Sundance channel charged me $64 for a year w/o a renewal notice and refused to let me cancel, I posted my name and PW to my 50+ women's group. With 2,500 women. At least 20 said they were going to join but didn't need to now! Enjoy.

I’m being strafed!

A deep dive into private ketamine clinics - there are more than 1,000 today across the U.S. Many are calling for stricter guidelines and a clear standard-of-care for this depression treatment. #ketamine

In case you haven’t read the report, here are the headings of the report’s conclusions into Andrew Cuomo’s behavior.

Many PR people have no idea how journalists work and what makes a story. Take a journalism class. Learn how to write stories/video/radio on deadline. Print reporters want different things than TV or radio. Also, I always want to speak to the actual person who did the thing. Not the PR person.

Masks should never have been politicized. Covid doesn’t care if you’re right or left. It doesn’t care that you’re over it or that you trust your immune system. It’s never too late to start masking again! Every infection avoided or delayed is a win (and a life possibly saved).

I'm unclear how "the world has moved on from the COVID pandemic." COVID is the 5th leading cause of death in the U.S. - right now. It's not a cold. It's not the flu. Even mild cases cause long-term heart issues. The stories mocking people who mask are awful and part of why so many people die.

I would LOVE to see more of this kind of self-promotion from people who are not white dudes. I WANT a variety of voices/jobs in my journalism classes. (Fall: med/sci writing and beg reporting) Teach out to your alma mater/ local college! Email a prof in your area of expertise! #medicinesky

OK but he's been impeached twice, more than any other president. It seems kind of meaningless, at this point, no?

These slow downs will be felt for years.

Dear GenX - I do not remember having any sort of "gift bag" at anyone's birthday party. We went to the roller rink, ate cake and left. Am I remembering incorrectly? When did this change? #GenerationX #GenX

Hi friends, help me boost? Looking to talk to people who work in child vaccines (providers, schools, health depts, clinics, data folks or coalitions, etc.) who might have insight or experiences to share about how their work has been impacted the last couple of months. Don't reply just DM me please!

Inch & Co. dropped its appeal against Manchester Township’s zoning board. Instead of pursuing a possible warehouse, the company says it wants to build homes instead.

This is what I wish folks could understand. Covid disrupts your immune system response, I was fascinated with Covid because of the way it operates very similarly to many autoimmune disorders. It is unpredictable and even 6 months after you're still at high risk of stroke, blood clots, etc.

The @chronicle.com asked 59 colleges under investigation by ED how they would respond if they got a list of demands like Columbia. Nobody would answer the questions, and one university (Wisconsin) called them "ridiculous." We'll find out how they actually respond soon enough.

Long-term heart risks from COVID-19. "A study found that having a COVID-19 infection doubles the risk of cardiovascular diseases, with risks extending up to 3 years." "The risks presented by COVID-19 apply to all patients, regardless of age, gender, or prior health conditions."

Department of Education staff were told today that they had to clear out their offices by 6pm tonight. And the most idiotic people on earth are cheering for this department’s demise without even knowing what it does. This country in the verge of collapse and it’s terrifying.

Upon learning that yesterday would be my last day as a program officer at the National Science Foundation, I shared this parting message with my colleagues. The next few months will be frenetic and stressful for them. Here are some things that you can do to help them with the mission ahead. (1)

I am infuriated to learn abt the celebrations of Frederick Douglass cancelled & suppressed by the Trump admin, so I'm reposting my recent essay analyzing his searing critique of white Christian nationalism.

He's not wrong.

Here is the romance we nerds want.

On International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a reminder to not close your eyes and turn away from what is happening in the US right now. Fascism is an assault on scientific integrity, knowledge, and innovation. www.chron.com/news/space/a...
