Ross Ulbricht was neither charged with nor convicted of anything relating to contract killings. That was a throwaway accusation from the prosecutors at a bail hearing. He did not deserve to go to prison and he definitely did not deserve to spend his life in prison.

I'm actually stunned by this. Not the pardon mind you (I would have been happy if Ross got 10-20 yrs, he only got life+ as a trial penalty and having a stupid attorney penalty), but that Trump actually remembered a campaign promise and kept his word!
