🧵: Q1 is typically a light spending time in my household as we recover from the excesses of the holidays. Knowing that economic instability was inevitable during the trump regime, we made the decision to *really* watch our household spending starting 1/20/25. I just did a comparison to 2024. 🥳

#Mentalhealth moment. Shhh… Mary Ann returned to the front bird feeder for Spring! She’s mostly been at the crow feeder, which is further from the house & away from my very barky Aussie. I was delighted, but a chatty Spotted Towhee was clearly displeased at the intrusion. #fox #birds #spring

#Mentalhealth moment: 2 vultures visited Nighthawk Hill & mistakenly chose DJ & Katie’s favorite tree. I watched in awe as my crows attacked them, working together to run off the *much* larger birds. This is their home & it’s worth defending. I think there’s a lesson in that. 🐦‍⬛ 🇺🇸 #birds
