All of my MDFC foils lay perfectly flat - they don't pringle because they balance out. Why isn't the generic Magic back just foil nowadays for all foils to fix this recurring issue? Genuinely curious what to cost increase is to do this?

Retooled Jeskai Chant to be slightly lower to the ground and am testing some flex spot cards (e.g. JTMS vs. Memory Deluge). Got another trophy on the first league with the updates against a pretty decent metagame spread, so maybe there's something here.

Team thought there was a somewhat interesting use for Wheel of Sun and Moon stopping "choose from among them" mill effects (details in thread - see 701.13c.). Then we learned that Malevolent Rumble simply reveals/chooses, and doesn't mill/choose among the milled cards! Wierd for Green right?

Redshift, Rocketeer Chief in DFT could be a neat (FNM level) buildaround in Modern, as it combos with Umbral Mantle to go infinite, and Mantle combos with Crackdown Construct for redundancy. Going to resist the urge to splash Stoneforge Mystic to start, and go from here. Moxfield in replies!

This is my all-time favorite infinite ETB combo in Modern - pair with your favorite guide of souls or altar of the brood. Is it good? Absolutely not. Do I plan to shoehorn it into b/w blink and put Overlord of the Balemurk under my Relic Warder and dare opponent to disupt me? Absolutely.
