Selling all my books (still have more to post) … look through or share with the book lovers in your life to help a bookish baby out. Everything must goπŸ™πŸ½ pangobooks.com/bookstore/ma... #BookSky

A new must-read YA book on being Black and autistic! "All the Noise at Once tackles so many issues with such care and thought, including racism, classism, and class segregation, the stress of excellence & being a 'model citizen'." By Meg Eden Kuyatt, at TPGA. thinkingautismguide.com/2025/02/all-...

Love so many of the authors and folks on here!! :) glad for my little corner of the interweb

I'll get my Substack post out soon with more rep information for each of these books, BUT here's my list of 35 books I'm STOKED for this year!!! (I'll include the list in ALT description and in the comments!) Also feel free to recommend me books!! #booksky

Hey, get the HPV vaccine while you can, if you can. They upped the age limit to 45. Your insurance will probably cover it. www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd...

πŸ“š This is my friendly reminder and official invitation to ALL readers to support Black books year-round, not just in February. And if you're already reading Black authors, I invite you to do an inventory to see how many of those authors have other marginalized life experiences. Never stop growing!

I get why people assumed it had been taken down. Today is a nightmare day. But I just checked and PubMeg is up for me. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Please folks, use ALT TEXT. I have a lot of words muted on here for the sake of my mental health. BlueSky scans alt text for those words too. So if you don’t use alt text, I sometimes see images (e.g. screenshots of text) that contain those words. Also, we like accessibility in this house!

I listen to audiobooks almost exclusively on Libby and it has changed my life ❀️

Book pre-orders are an indication of reader interest in a title. They demonstrate to publishers and booksellers that working with the author and stocking their books is a wise choice. So, if you love an author's work, consider pre-ordering and/or asking your local library to shelve the book.

Ok does anyone know why there's SEVERAL books releasing this year that I've seen that are centered around tarot cards?!? (Don't get me wrong I'm a sucker for a tarot theme, but πŸ‘€ seems like a lot)

Here are 25 books that feature a trans main character that I LOVE that you should read by an array of amazing authors πŸ“š #books #transbooks

Now, more than ever, READ DIVERSE BOOKS. Read books that will be banned. Read queer joy. Read books from a religion or experience different than your own. Read difficult books! Expand your world beyond yourself to the infinity of possibilities. Grow. Find community. Flourish despite the conditions 🌱

I figured since I hadn't shared my favorites of 2024 on this app I should now!! If I had to pick two, which is NOT EASY, Heartwaves by Anita Kelly and Hammajang Luck by Makana Yamamoto are in the top! You really can't go wrong with any of these!

Make sure you use your library cards. Check out books by Black authors, indigenous authors, queer authors and other marginalized communities. Also, ask your local library to buy more titles by marginalized folks. We often buy those requests. Use Libby! A lot! #booktok #booksky
