I know it’s only the second game of spring training, but Jace Jung is seeing the ball well. Tigers really need Jung, Keith, and Meadows to step up to make it back to the playoffs.

The GOP: Punching down at the most vulnerable Americans since the 19th century.

I’m not on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook anymore, do you know how much @tigers.bsky.social info I get? Zero. Do better, Tigers.

Today is my grandfather’s 102nd birthday. In WWII he was tortured by nazis. Last year he voted one into office. Suffice to say I have mixed feelings about the day.

listen to this. Elon can barely form a sentence right now.

The Democratic Party is dead. The question is: what will rise from its ashes?

My mother quoted this to me the other day. It’s heartbreaking how indoctrinated she is into the cult of Fox News, Elon, and Trump. When one of the first EO’s Directly impacted me, her reaction was basically “sorry you’re upset, but we believe different things.” I’m your goddamn child!

With everything going on in the world, it sure felt great to play an afternoon of Dungeons and Dragons. It struck me as we were playing, that even the chaotic evil imp npc has more empathy and self awareness than the President of the United States.

Democratic leadership, @schumer.senate.gov , @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social right now.

You know what’s guaranteed to bring down the price of eggs? Firing everyone trying to protect us from the avian flu. It’s basic economics really.

I work in a job where I have no ability to follow events when “on the clock.” When I’m on the subway to come home, I scroll through Bluesky to see what madness I missed. Most days I don’t know whether to laugh, cry, or both. It’s always overwhelming to take in at once.

Irony: listening to @chrislhayes.bsky.social ‘s The Sirens’ Call audiobook while scrolling through Bluesky.

The real crisis of our time is that the young have taken to wearing Ed Hardy unironically.

This is performative nonsense. It’s the action you take when you don’t actually know how to confront the problem, or lack the courage to try.

This man gets it.

I hope Schumer is planning on retiring because I don’t think he’s going to win re-election.

@murray.senate.gov explain to me, like I’m 5, how billionaire civilian from South Africa, who illegally overstayed his student visa, has total control of the United States while our leaders just sit there, watching it all burn to the ground. #usaid #treasury #musk #fraud @housedemocrats.bsky.social

podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/m... We haven’t released anything in awhile, but given how these last two weeks have gone, we can all use a distraction. This is a between seasons one shot. Perfect for new listeners. Season 5 coming soon!

I truly feel as though my elected officials are doing nothing to stop this. They. Are. USELESS.

Really good advice.

What is the end game for dismantling the government? Specifically eliminating funding for scientific research? Just to make people suffer? To ultimately lower taxes? For whom? The ultra-wealthy don’t pay taxes as is.

Whoever has the courage to primary him, you have my vote.

And I was expecting a train wreck into a dumpster fire.

Somehow, this is all worse than I imagined it would be.

Imagining a screenplay about our current “tycoons.” the dialogue would be so inane as to be maddening. Elon: “Yo, Zuck you look swole” Zuck: “Thanks, bro. Way to cuck Donald with DOGE.” Elon: “.gif, .gif, .gif” Or something. It hurts my head to put myself in that space.

genuinely chilling that there is a currently a *one vote* majority for the basic notion "Donald Trump can't just do literally anything he wants"

sick and twisted stuff

I keep getting followers who are obviously bots. Looking at their posts is like staring into the mouth of madness. Even worse is when they reply to one another.

My lukewarm takes from today from mild to tepid: 1) It’s going to be an extremely annoying next four years. 2) Nobody should be on Facebook. Let it die. They want to make it ok to harass you? Don’t give them business. Never log in again. There are alternatives these days.

“To see high quality publications bought and broken by rich people is like watching a drunk hedge fund dickhead throwing up on a Picasso that he hung in his yacht. It’s just a fucking shame.” www.hamiltonnolan.com/p/its-not-lo...

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who is coming to save you?
