This is unprecedented. The Rising Tides agreement was just with the province, but adding federal recognition in is a big deal. This is the first time Aboriginal Title land has been negotiated, rather than litigated in Canada.

Every line is worse than the last. No due process, not accused of any crimes, no access to a lawyer, and this was swept further under the rug the more attention it got. Migrants were moved from the hotel to the camp as soon as Panamanian media took notice, phones confiscated soon after. Wow.
