Instead of a lifetime appointment, I think we should have term limits for being ourselves.

Blakes 7 Series 2 on blu-ray! Or, as it's more commonly known in fandom, The Good Blakes 7 Series 1. #ThatsRightIWentThere

Oh, sure, but when I stack live pigs on crates, petrol drums, old tyres, and broken washing machines, I'm asked to leave the garden centre.

We're gonna need a bigger Trump blimp.

Missy and 2 backup Missys, just in case.

Least now I can finally give up hoping for a sequel to Welcome To Mooseport.

And jolly good it was, too. Great performances and neatly handles communicating the physical comedy. Not sure about them re-using the original score, which feels a bit like cheating and doesn't sync as well without the visual cues. But, overall, excellent.

Wrote a thing years ago about why Steptoe's "The Desperate Hours" is my single favourite half hour of sitcom. I'd probably change a couple of things now, but I think I get across just why I love it so much. ladydontfallbackwards.wordpress.com/tag/steptoe-...

Can we repost this around as much as some of you self-righteous old farts were reposting the other survey the other day because you were absolutely desperate to look down on, loathe and lecture a younger generation in exactly the way reactionary Daily Mail wankers do.

The wrong people are dying again. Have a word, someone.

RIP Gene Hackman. A giant talent. Dynamic, vital, thoughtful, mercurial, charismatic, intimidating, terrifying, hilarious, charming, and always worth your attention. Cinema has been poorer since he retired and now the world is, too.

Off for a walk, listening to a BBC Radio adaptation of ‘The Ladykillers’ with Edward Petherbridge as the Professor and Donald “Plummy” Sinden as Major Courtney. Living my best life.

Braverman is gonna start posting videos of herself shoving dog poo through her own letterbox, burning crosses on her own front lawn, and eventually lynch herself, to prove she’s Britain’s top racist.

No, you’re up at 3:30am watching ‘Our Town’ (1989)!

Kate Stewart invented Severance.

It’s crazy this happened to the same guy twice

#DoctorWho at 8am? That's ridiculous. 6am, preferably Sunday on UKGold, is the natural order of things.

Dammit, that's terrible. RIP Michelle Trachtenberg. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Life gave me lemons. First batch was free. Now I'm hooked and the price keeps going up. Lemons, just say no.

“Do you want to come back to my place?” “Yeah, alright.”

The Pope will return in A View To Abbess.

Is there a #DoctorWho podcast called Sonic Device (with "Drop the sonic device" in the opening theme), yet? And if not, why not?!

👀LOOK!👀It's the SEEDS OF DOOM! thedwshow.net/2025/02/23/t... As voted for by YOU, dear listener, tonight we take a deep dive into a truly classic Tom Baker story. Before then, some news and short topics, including all the unsubstantiated rumours swirling around #DoctorWho at present!

Starmer’s not going to show up outside the White House front door with a speech written on sheets of cardboard? Honestly, relieved.

The next Pope should be an app.

The next Bond should be an app.

Talalay gives Pickwoad's magnificent TARDIS control room a superb send-off. Beautifully lit and shot in its final moments.

Me, lunch.

Please can everyone listen to Geek Gods: Sir Ian Livingstone at 4pm and midnight please? Tell everyone about it too. Radio 4 Extra : BBC Sounds thereafter.

“How do you plead?” “Owning the libs.” “Case dismissed.”
