College football games from yesterday illustrate in a microcosm why we are perfectly capable of civil war in this country. A team/politician/political party can't just be satisfied with a game well played or a win. We have to plant a flag on our opponent and rub it in their face.

Witch hunt on the "cognitive elite". Journalists can be so lazy sometimes. Trust me, in my rural state, no one is thinking about people who went to HPY nor blaming them for life problems. And apparently the media has forgotten that Trump, Vance, and Elon all went to Ivy league schools.

The usual suspects are out there yelling "There are 23 million government workers! Fire most of them!" No awareness that most work for local governments, and most of *them* are schoolteachers. Federal employment hasn't grown since the 1950s
