Apparently “Mini Brands” were also popular in the 1940s. This company (Precision Miniatures) operated out of St. Louis, Missouri. Had never heard of a “chatelaine” until I saw this ad. Source: vintascope

May the 4th Be With You! This jacket was found in a thirft store in the bay area. It's a vintage LucasArts employee varsity jacket. The name on the breast says "Papa Smurf" So I started asking LucasArts peeps if they knew who "Papa Smurf" is. The consensus was, "of course we do... that's George"

Four years ago… the most incredible shift I ever worked: Disneyland’s reopening after its extended pandemic closure. For most of my day, I stood just past the entrance tunnel, telling every guest “welcome home” as they entered. I cried a lot, it was such a special *BIG* day.
