Another Banksy style classic.

An idea whose time has come.

Its very easy to tax the rich, all their wealth comes from the properties and companies they own, and these can't move. That's what they don't want you to know.

If you’re not following @we-own-it.bsky.social you really should

If Brexit had never happened… …we’d be much wealthier, with more investment in public services, better trade - and with our parliament & govt having spent the last decade doing far more productive things. 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇬🇧🇪🇺🇬🇧🇪🇺🇬🇧🇪🇺

Dear Cornish people, if you don’t stand up and oppose the 16 SEZs that are being installed right now in Cornwall, you can expect to see all public services privatised and absorbed by private equity, corporate taxes unpaid while ordinary citizens taxes are hiked>

And now for some much-needed GOOD NEWS. Tesla’s sales have plummetted across Europe. Sales in France and Germany are down 60% because of Elon's politics.

Biggest blocker to growth BY FAR is Brexit, but Labour are still fiddling with throwing cups of water on the flames rather than extinguishing the blaze...

High Court hearing today on Thames Water plan to borrow another £3bn. Already has £17bn debt, mostly to fund dividends, wants 53% price hike. Nearly a third of customer bill covers interest payments. More debt= higher bills. Let it go bankrupt. Nationalise at nominal price.

HMRC hasn't prosecuted anyone for enabling tax evasion in 5 years. But it fined 95,000 people who dodged nothing, £100 each because their returns were slightly late. HMRC, pinching the pennies, ignoring the stolen Pounds.

Rest Day Work Needs Fair Pay! RMT Train Managers who work for Avanti West Coast are taking strike action today for pay justice for rest day working.

Why are jobs that paid £35k 15 years ago still paying £35k now?? Are airport runways going to fix this??

How to improve your Bluesky experience in a few seconds... Go to: Settings->Moderation->Muted words & tags Then add "trump", "musk" and "farage" separately. Bingo! You won't see any posts mentioning Trump, Musk or Farage ever again.

No Govt has cut public spending, cut services, jobs, wages & secured economic growth. UK PM says he will be "ruthless" in cutting public spending People will spend less. Due to lack of good food, housing, healthcare, education many won't be able to work Madness leftfootforward.org/2025/01/labo...

YES. “Negotiate UK-EU customs union to tear down ‘damaging’ Brexit barriers, Davey urges Starmer”

Reform want to base the UK economy on gold not fiat currency, this will bankrupt the UK. Reform want to pass the Quantitative Easing Prohibition bill. Govt is the only agency that can create money. Reform's policies are death + feudalism + shrinking Big govt= Anarchy www.youtube.com/watch?v=mKvV...

UK low- to middle-income families far poorer than OECD counterparts. UK prices 8% higher, housing cost 44% higher. Low income families - German families 21% or £2,300 a year better off; Dutch 39%. Yet no curbs on profiteering, exploitation institutionalized. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

We are in 2025, we have now lost all the progress we made on inequality in most Western Countries since WW2. From 1945-1980 we advanced, for 45 years we have declined. Soon we will be back to the Great Depression. But we won't stop there.

In 2018 we left the EU's Water Regulation body and their massive fines. Then sewage dumping increased 20x. Before Brexit we had some of the cleanest water in Europe. Now it is by far the dirtiest.

If there was a UK Political Party and its main aim was getting rid of Brexit. Would you vote for it?

Far right honker, Nigel, furiously peddles stupid, prejudiced ideas that make you poorer. Then, when you are poorer, he tells you you’re right to feel angry about that. But not with him. For love of god, England, work it out… (Private Eye)

Privatised train operators are gorging themselves on one final pre-nationalisation dividends bonanza. However, the railway fat-cats aren't happy. They want to keep their noses in the trough. 🔗 Read RMT's new report on the private sector dividend bonanza: bit.ly/409J2mU

In light of Mick Lynch’s announcement that he is to retire as GS of the RMT Union, I’d have loved to have watched him go head to head with Elon Musk Maybe he still will…

Mick has been a real leader to all in the rail industry, we have a lot to thank him for. He was the right man at the right time. Wishing him a happy and relaxed retirement.

Global survey of graduates to find most attractive countries graduates would move to if they could. The UK has fallen the most. No prizes for guessing why: it's Brexit. We're still getting foreign students, but this means many of the world's best students now look to other countries first.

Greenland has universal healthcare, gender equality, and clean energy. Can they take over the USA instead?

If you care about the future of the NHS & you see this on Boxing Day, please could you share this? If we want privatisation to be removed from the NHS, NHS campaigners like me have a *lot* of work to do next year and…I’d just like to see if people care enough about this for our campaigning to work…

Coming to the UK if that grifter Farage has his way.

This article highlights why more “crazy motherfuckers”are likely going to kill more extremely wealthy, “heartless, motherfuckers.” Society has reached the tipping point on inequities. Especially those leaving the masses to suffer and die. www.cnbc.com/2018/04/11/g...

It's a disaster indeed. Train crews and customers suffering from the results of NR's hopeless "reactive maintenance" every day. Huge safety concern too.

In 1970 the UK and Norway were roughly equal, almost no debt, and owned all their Public Services. Now the UK owns nothing and has £3tn of debt. While Norway still owns everything and has the equivilant per person of £10tn. That's how privatisation 'works'.
