🚨 The Michigan Senate just gave final approval to the guaranteed paid sick leave and minimum wage bills — capping the tipped wage at 50% in 2031 and gradually increasing standard minimum wage to $15/hour in 2027. HB 4002 and SB 8 are expected to be signed by the Governor tonight.

Some good news: The Michigan State House passed three bills that require a two-year waiting period between when a lawmaker, Governor, Attorney General, or Secretary of State leaves office and when they can register as a lobbyist. Bills all passed with wide bipartisan support. ☀️
