Two page Peter Chung comic from a 1984 issue of Nomag, an LA punk zine.

ABC Paramount! Tailored to every taste!

I’m down with Claudia Sheinbaum. Wish we had a President like that.

Right now I’m rereading Larry Hama’s G.I. Joe comics and rewatching the old cartoon. Time and again Cobra keeps reminding me of our current administration. In the episode I’m watching, government officials have been replaced by Cobra and are cutting off the funding to G.I. Joe.

I wrote a script for this, but with the cancellation of the Blade movie the project never materialized.

Goofy mashup I made at work a few years ago.

Woah, holy shit. David Lynch has passed away. This is gonna take some time to process. I knew he was in bad health… He was an artistic mentor to me and pretty much every other artist I know. There was no one like him before and there will never be anyone like him again.

Just happened to be reading this January 1981 issue of Spider-woman. “It’s a hot, dry night in Los Angeles, and the Santa Ana wind is blowing strong and hard off the desert. For the erstwhile city of angels-and those who live within it’s boundaries- this is the most dangerous time of year…”

The protagonists of The Tissuepaper Desperado are gettin’ it on.

If you're a total sick bastard, desperate, DESPERATE for something to listen to, here's a podcast type thing where @djbryant.bsky.social talk a lot about Moebius' Airtight Garage, which is, hot take, great.

A detail of a portrait of me, by David Nicholson ❤️‍🔥

All or nothing is not a sound moral position. If you would take NOTHING over SOME progress on a moral issue as an alternative to TOTAL victory, I’m not convinced that you are sincere in your fight for moral progress.

Wednesday morning, drove up to Seattle and picked up @djbryant.bsky.social. Took a detour over to Twede's Cafe, the real Double R Diner, for lunch, took in some Twin Peaks sights before heading back to Portland for Thanksgiving.
