If I hit debug instead of using the tools to load, it ends working but the game is only listed as "64".

Yeah, I'm a Jefferson Airplane fan. For a bunch of hippies, they were as punk as shit from 1967 to 1972. THE great American band of the era. After that they devolved into total crap, but that doesn't erase peak Airplane. Good article. Grace at 85 is still as big an entertaining asshole as ever.

It's not a progress bar, but I finally got it to draw something... (I forgot some important details, and ran into a new bug)

Tonight’s read from @raspberrypi.com . Doggo for warms

Birmingham reggae band Afrikan Star and friends - self-portrait taken in Handsworth in 1979, currently on show at the highly-recommended Lives Less Ordinary exhibition at Two Temple Place in London

Don trumpy wants to offer deals we canna refuse, but ho how we should!

It's here - my new book The Road to Mons Graupius is now officially out! Join me as I travel along a Roman road in search of evidence of the first Roman invasion of northern Britain and the site of Scotland's first recorded battle. Order it for only £9.99 here: shorturl.at/SYKdE #RomanSiteSaturday

Saw new play called Double Act at the Arcola Theatre in London. Its gallows humour cheered me up immensely and it wasn't as full as it should have been. Another week to go before it closes. Think Joe Orton/ League of Gentlemen @arcolatheatre.bsky.social

Sadly the software companies' response to the SAM Coupe quickly shifted from "wait and see" to "ignore". But gradually there was a wealth of software over the years from fans, individuals and small teams dedicated to the machine. Everything I do for the SAM: www.samcoupe.com #samcoupe #retrogaming

My mum, who bought me my very own ZX81, has had a massive stroke and is in hospital. Please think positive thoughts for her. I'd like to show her how many likes she got for buying me my first computer and giving me my career.

I dug these out of my archive.. some education basics. Tomorrow the exam will be. #F1 #RetroF1

Brexit was pushed through by lies. The Sun lied about benefits tourism. Later, it printed this pathetically small apology. The government should force all news media to print apologies for falsehoods in a form that makes them very visible to the public.

I could fix things... or I could mess around porting games... 🤔 (May have spent ages hacking the sound code)

TikTok took it down, so let’s share the shit out of this reading list. #HolocaustRemembranceDay #NeverAgainIsNow #BookSky #StateMediaCensorship

Picked it up yesterday

A bit of shameless self-promotion for #TheVictorianBookoftheDead a look at the ephemera of Victorian mourning culture, as well as extraordinary tales of Victorian deaths and mourning rituals. Available worldwide.

Isn't it crazy that I am getting emails every day from people in the EU wanting to buy my products and I have to turn them away. I have sent a few test orders since December 13th, and they are all still stuck in customs, don't know if they will get through or get returned (or destroyed as "unsafe").

IT'S HERE! Episode 21 of Reclining Pair. My first show taking over from Ben and what a show it is! We chat about: looting supermarkets, Wolf Hall, Iceland, cat soup, and I take part in the Crisp Quiz Challenge! Stay to the end for beer reviews and local news! x

I just saw someone blasting indie authors for having pick me energy and demanding that they do NOT ever recommend their own books. How do they think indie authors are going to manage to write another book if they don't market? Because people recommending doesn't happen that often...

Its a sign of the end of days! www.pcworld.com/article/2566...

I do not know why my novel WANDERERS is a mere buck-ninety-nine at your favorite electric bookmonger site of choice, but it is, so if you want, y'know, creepy sleepwalking disease peri-apocalyptic sci-fi horror with a hefty dash of EAT SHIT A.I., then hey, it's 800 pages for 199 pennies.

It’s Edgar Allen Poe’s birthday so here are a few from the limited edition of Tales of Mystery and Imagination I illustrated last year 🖤
